He’s not making the Olympic team with a torn ACL. he’ll end up going pro in wrestling and train out of NLWC. or he’ll start training for an MMA career out of ATT Happy Valley. Carter gets a lot of attention, but to me, Aaron Brooks is the best ever to don the PSU singlet. He very well could be the second best 97kg guy in the world, and has DT looking in the review mirror.

think JB said he wanted to see Brooks at 97kg this year….uhhhh he’s wrestling at 197. Cutting 7 pounds in 4 weeks seems easier than adding 17. think he might very well be the 3rd best guy in the world at 86kg but he has exactly one quality win internationally against a borderline top 10 guy. I want to see him at least beat guys like Marstellar and Dieringer before proclaiming him to be better than Yazdani.

Michigan had a really good run. I thought D'Ag would've been the guy to make the unforeseen run, but Davison played that role. Bastida going down was the shock of the tournament for me.
Pretty wild that from 2nd to 10th was only 16.5 points. Hokies were 7th and only 8.5 back of second. Couple more things go our way and we could have been on the podium, not something I expected heading into the weekend.
