Just so much fun to watch that offense today. The ball was moving, the shots were good looks, and the guys were sharing the ball. Shout out to Eddie Lampkin, who is the very definition of wildcard.
Last night’s game also taught me that Todd Golden is a whiny little crybaby. It doesn’t surprise me because he looks exactly like a whiny little crybaby.
The offense certainly generated the open looks needed, they just could not cash it. Real, real tough.
It was fun to watch though and we answered so many times when we could have just turtled up. On to the Big 12.
Lampkin out, hopefully Hadley stays put but who knows in this era. Lampkin: What can you say about the big fella? Loved the energy Thankful for his work against Lovering and a few other schools TS% ended up at his career high -- not half bad. I will not miss his defense or turnovers, and I hope he is replaced by someone that can anchor a Tad defense the way the good lord intended, but Lampkin was truly one of the most Wildcard Buffs players I can recall. Go get your NIL big fella, find a defender Tad.
There may be more (Hammond and Hurlburt would both have decent reasons, I would think), but here is the current roster and the year they are going into: PG: Hammond, RJ Smith Wing: Anderson (RS FR), Ruffin, Kossaras (FR), Crawford (FR) F/C: Dak (Soph), Diop (Soph), Hurlburt, Rancik (FR) This is going to be a crazy offseason (most probably will be moving forward, I guess).
Hadley is trying to get back closer to MN. This one was coming, he's got some personal stuff out there he wants to be closer for. At least what I was told in Vegas. I'd guess at least 2 more enter the portal.
Great info, thanks! So we are looking at 5-ish scholarships -- so lucky the ridiculous CU transfer regulations were relaxed.
Outside of Milliner-Jones, we haven't really lost much. The remaining bad OL all found the exits. Should be interesting
Will be interesting to see if they can convince any starter-ish OTs to come on board, or if it will be just developmental depth stuff.
Please no more physically unable to perform Noles. Wonder if Bishop hits the portal or just quits football altogether.
Still waiting to see if they lose a noteworthy RB or WR -- it feels bound to happen with the depth in those rooms.
