How can you ever doubt Gosling and Blunt?

 

Glad to hear Fall Guy might be good. The leads alone had me interested.

 

Wasn't this book shit? I purposely stayed away from it to prevent the original story from being tainted.

 

Even the first book/movie's story line isn't great if you look at it too hard

 

the first book is just 80's pop culture porn...in book form it was great nostalgia for GenX readers, understood why Spielberg changed what he did.

 

I liked both the book and the movie a lot. Zero reason to look too hard at that type of story. You really wanna know what's in the fast food item you love so much?

 

The hype coming out about Monkey Man from SXSW is insane

 

Pretty solid trailer, too. But yes, the leads alone make this seem like one of the better upcoming options.

 

I didn't like his second book, Armada, so I too, stayed away from Ready Player Two.

 

Saw this last night and it was kinda weird/quirky, but also enjoyed it overall

 

Ex Machina is being re-released in IMAX on March 27th

Hereditary being re-released on IMAX on April 24th

Uncut Gems being re-released in IMAX on May 22nd

FYI since A24 and IMAX are doing a collab

The original is really a favorite of mine and I was hoping this would look cool but man I get no good feeling from that trailer

I never saw the original, but that looks metal AF. Not like a great movie but should be a fun ride.

 

Twigs is dope im not worried about that. The first one isn’t peak cinema or anything but its kick ass aesthetically pleasing ride.

Haven't seen the original, but that doesn't look great imo. Invincible John Wick trying to save a tormented ghost lover doesn't really do it for me, I guess.

Ah I assumed that the "something so bad happens that the soul cannot rest" meant he was about to go questing to save his dead lovers soul.

Like others have said, not much info to suggest that this isn't just a cash grab between Imax and A24.
