PS5s are $600?? Damn. Probably only comes with one controller, right? And do you have to pay for an online subscription? Are the games digital now, or still a disc?
I think there’s an option to have a disc or not. At least that’s how Xbox was (I thought PS5 was similar).
450 for a digital console https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sony-Pla...MIqo32uvqthAMVVdHCBB3LDgqLEAQYASABEgLJmvD_BwE
Bought the digital (no disc) version August '22 for $450 1 controller Only need PSN subscription if you want to play online
and if you monitor, they'll have various sales on the PSN subscription where you can get a year for a discounted amount
They've tried to reassure people that it won't just be Madden gameplay with a college skin slapped over it, but waiting to show gameplay until under two months to release makes me think it's going to be Madden gameplay with a college skin. Yearly releases don't show gameplay because there isn't anything drastically different than the one from the previous year. This isn't the case with this game, and it definitely has me worried.
The only thing that has changed from a few months ago is how close we are getting to release without any actual info. This teaser did nothing to ease those worries.
option A: post the same thing that's been posted a million times about this game option B: understand it was a teaser and wait until May to see gameplay
I think the worry a few months ago, was that there were no announcements at all. Which made people feel like this was going to be pushed another year or two. Now that they are actually calling it '25 and saying there will be a bigger preview in May, it pretty much put all that to bed. At least for me
I'll choose option A because this is the thread for discussion of the upcoming CFB game. Thanks for the advice.
I’d rather people talk about this ad nauseam than see some of you telling people about the lil sports bets you make that’s just me tho
Sorry for the weirdos people that play the cpu and/or just sim games to recruit and build a team, but I couldn't care less about offline modes. I hope they put all their efforts into online modes. I pray they get the build an online team portion right.
Franchise should be an online mode in every sports game. And calling people weirdos for playing something other than MUT/Card collecting is wild
tbh I'd prefer it's not pay to win. I'd prefer something like The Show where you can build a great team by playing the game or you can skip all that by buying players. Make both options feasible imo. I just hope they have a deep roster of players to make it worthwhile playing that mode.
Heres the fun part…. its never ever worthwhile. You sink a ton of money into it and then a year goes by. A new game comes out and you do it all over again.
he doesn’t care, can afford it, and views it as a worthwhile value proposition. we can save 4 pages of debate
I don't remember NCAA having game chat? The Show doesn't. The new one probably will but that's not something I'd turn on.
me, eyes bleary at 2 AM, "I have to land this QB with 4.3 speed because my current QB with 91 speed just isn't fast enough"
In some cases maybe but I truly haven’t put on a headset to play multiplayer any game with a single soul since the original Destiny came out in 2014 only projecting I see is you projecting your wife out on the porch to talk shit to kids in a card game
lol I don't do game chat. I'll do a party with teammates in 2k (have played way less 2k the last 2 years) but The Show doesn't have any chat at all and it's single player. tbh your disdain for people that enjoy modes other than you is funny to me and the reason I like to push your buttons.
hey man if you get entertainment out of being faux pas that’s your business It’s not disdain I’m just of the opinion that multiplayer gaming is for children and people with short attention spans and gaming would be better off without it
