The Milleniam is my favourite international stadium. Right in the heart of Cardiff. Had a great few games there- 2007 q final my favourite. Lads launching garryowns all over the centre of the city. Rome my favourite weekend overall although Paris is obviously sick. Would be amazing if the Portuguese got to join so we’d get Lisbon. Spain too would be amazing. Not so sure about Tblisi and Georgia overall.
Not a lot coming through based on Under 20s results The WRU really did a spectacular job in fucking up a golden opportunity with that stadium and team seeing the money flow in
Watching Society of Snow, and after an admittedly weak Google search to figure out which person played which position for their rugby team, I give up. I read a book about it, but they never mention positions. This is relevant to me, because I know that Nando, for example, was supposed to be "the biggest and strongest" of the survivors left after 2 months. He was the one they chose to make a trek down the mountain to get help, so naturally, that made me curious if he was a #8. Anyone have any idea who played what position?
Parrado was a second row iirc. I met Roberto Canessa who was a winger. My high school was twinned with the high school that their old boys club was borne from (hence the shamrock on their crest) and they came to play us. Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to go on the tour that our school made to Argentina and Uruguay after that. I only just realised that Netflix had done another movie about this. I always liked Alive. Good timing given how Uruguay and Chile had such good rugby World Cup campaigns. Great fans.
They left that game out there. Finn was close to marshalling a tactical game winner but with more guile at 60 mins I think they’d have won.
Welsh lad in the pub here went ape that you didn’t take the 3 points. Some great effort on defense but it’s comfortable for Ireland.
