We were in Chicago around that time—the gig was at Schubas—and I wrote it there and it was just about what was on my mind at the time.

I went to the Saturday show in OKC. Just an absolute blast, Godwin and his band absolutely killed it. The guitar player that Isbell brought in was insane. And obviously Troubadors killed it.
