their hiatus ended like 6 years ago actually and planned to release a new album in 2020/21 but covid pushed it back. their lead singer has another project that was keeping her busy
Does anyone use a spreadsheet to track their music collection? I've had to go that route -- Spotify will let you save infinite things to playlists but the interface gets unwieldy once you have tens of thousands of songs. I added 160 new albums from 2023 alone. Spoiler: Example
not but I feel like I should do something like that, I worry about what happens when I try to move on from spotify now that I don't download all these albums anymore, lost my redacted account due to inactivity
I'm not the #1 spreadsheet guy, like I don't do it when I'm going on vacation or something, but making this was a couple hours of blissed out flow state. I will go back for that genre column next time I feel like grinding.
No spreadsheets but I meticulously maintain my library through the desktop version of itunes still. keep everything separated by year another for just singles or mixes
sort of - I used to have a digital spreadsheet keeping track of everything I have on vinyl but I don’t keep up with it anymore
I’m not very hip to this thread but I’ve been put on to this and think it’s absolutely amazing. I suppose you guys are aware already but if not it’s pretty great. https://music.apple.com/us/album/prelude-to-ecstasy/1716063932 not aware how “indie” it is either just wanted to share it
I actually just heard them mentioned on the college radio station today, so they have indie cred. Haven't heard them myself.
They’re definitely indie but they’re going to be massive. On the Wet Leg track and will probably be larger. I think they’re already pretty big in the UK but are starting to get a lot of press stateside
They’ve definitely already blown up. But they are still new. Will be curious how they are able to follow up that album
