I’m going to sound insane but I’d personally probably rather have McCord because I’m super skeptical of Raiola’s ability to stick with anything and I think McCord could win us another 3-5 games next year with just managing the games and not actively trying to lose them.
McCord has one year. Raiola can burn a redshirt in 2024 learning under him and then start two years, in theory.
If McCord/Raiola have the same private QB coach my guess is that they know each other and both approve of both moves.
Because the plan has very little chance at actually happening since your entire coaching staff is likely to be new after next season.
Shit stings, but Nebraska always made more sense. Rhule played it wisely, by waiting until the end to make the final bid, EBay style. He played behind a shit OL at Buford and still worked magic every game. The kid is legit.
I think nebraska was always #1 in his heart, but he also wanted to win and develop... not sure what changed but Disney will love this story when the legacy turns it around.
All five of the five-star QBs from last cycle were backups this year. Arch, Nico, and Malachi barely played at all and kept their redshirts intact.
I enjoy the idea of a decent Nebraska team, but won’t if you beat us. It’s good for the conference and quality of games. The best thing Raiola did for us was decommit early.
Spoken like a man with a broken heart. It’ll take awhile for sure, but you’ll get over that ‘22 class eventually and be stronger for it.
I don’t believe anything good is happening until it’s done and even then I don’t really believe it. Seems like you Georgia guys are already acting like he’s gone and I can’t believe it yet.
So is the plan to have Beck for one more year then Julian Lewis reclassifies to be there the following year?
You'll have to excuse us, friends. We aren't used to great, good, decent, mediocre, or even barely acceptable things happening to us, and usually when it looks like it might, something bad happens.
