I’m not suggesting he should be lauded for the season but do you really think WVU is somewhere that’s going to fire a coach after winning 8 games? I don’t think it matters how many empty calories the wins are. I think he’s a lousy coach and won’t be surprised at all to see them on the carousel next year but it’s not at all surprising he’s coming back. Especially since I believe he has a pretty decent sized buyout.
He wasn't pushed out. He went all in in 2018 and went 8-3. He blew a 17 point halftime lead which cost us a B12 title game appearance. He wanted a contract extension and the AD told him no. We lost pretty much the entire team and win 6 at most the next year with him
Eh, depends on how you look at it. AD Oliver Luck hired Dana as HCIW but didn't tell Stewart. It was a 1 year deal. Something went down and he was fired. So even if he doesn't get fired after year 3, he was done after year 4
