Yeah but it is mostly pro Russian and anti vax content now There was a time when it was all just finance cynicism
My dad used to send me zerohedge stuff during the financial crisis in 09-10. I remember calling my dad while at Miami begging him to put $100k each into Ford and BoA when they were basically penny stocks. He kept using zerohedge as a justification as to why the stock market was going to $0 and his money was better off on the sideline Those fucks cost my family probably $16 million. My dad has since passed but I pretty much brought it up every year he was alive
I'm not really going to defend Chip Kelly, but I have to laugh at the thought of Dante Moore's grandmother - football savant.
I figure you get like 5 chances in a lifetime to time a market or stock. I’ve missed two now: one was crypto because I sold everything a year early, the other was the rebound after the financial crisis that I was correct on but couldn’t get my dad to act on. I’ve got a couple more chances in me still so let’s get 1
no wonder this guy is a complete head case with all these people in his ear. just imagine your grandmother posting on a message board, damn we are old
I was working at an options trading prop shop and I stopped making money because I refused to switch to short vol trades because of that shit. Not to mention that short vol is just more difficult What they didn't account for is the pre-eminent scholar of the great depression hell bent on preventing it becoming the most powerful person in the world essentially
And the money is not enough? I feel like a few millions in my back pocket would probably be good enough to enjoy my stuff now. Maybe I am not ambitious enough
In very Notre Dame fashion, we’re absolutely barren at the WR position and the Portal will be chock full of incredible talent. I can’t wait for us to either miss out or not prioritize this position this cycle. Would be so fitting.
Ok last random thought - I was losing my mind last year about the dl and how it was handled after defections. Probs my the best position group this year behind corner. I’ll wait to see how it shakes out.
Every 295 lb MAC dt would go somewhere and Tubs McDew would lose his mind over Washington and the fanbase ate that shit up.
Someone light a candle in the grotto or something for some WRs If you're going to make the analogy to last year's DL at least we had upside guys like JB, Mills, etc. coming back We're literally down to Greathouse, Colzie and Faison as the only two WRs that would see the field for a G5 team
People telling posters to calm down in here, pals, I am going to self-immolate outside the Gug if ND loses one more person to the transfer portal. Going to commit seppuku while doing a sudoko, my life is in Freeman's hands now
Cocaine Greg and Jamie U had an interesting/insightful discussion on the Stuckey thing on their podcast yesterday
Just talked about poor management of the room beginning back in February, lack of communication from Stuckey to the WRs, and frustration over usage
I need to listen to this. Getting tired of D3 hinting at shit but not saying anything to back up his claims.
Imagine all the people who really haven’t watched Iowa all year but will now hoping to see Michigan lose. I feel bad for those people.
We can remember him by naming the new facilities after him: The Wads of 100s, Magnums, and Intestines Athletics Complex
I wish Iowa did make a punter hype video at least they embrace what they are and don’t sit around wondering if any high profile receivers will transfer to us so they can catch 17 passes for 172 yards over the course of an entire season like we do
Loy has thrown in the towel on Rico: Just to be clear: I’m not expecting Rico to suit up for the Irish again. It’s a bummer. He’s going to thrive elsewhere and I’m happy for him for that. But would have loved to see him up close for a few more years here at ND. Just waiting for it to become official on his end to be 100% sure.
So we fired the WR coach to appease this guy and it looks like he just wanted the whole thing to burn anyway?
He's a bitch Wants to say cryptic shit on twitter but take none of the heat by turning off the comments
addition by subtraction here - everyone on this thread knows I thought Tobias was the best WR recruit they had in the last 5 years and he's been a total bust...sometimes you are wrong and I was definitely wrong. Some players have the talent but it doesn't mean anything if you don't have that dog mentality to go w/ it and Tobias doesn't have that
I'll be interested to hear the behind the scenes on this whole saga next November or the following year or whenever the beat will have cover to speak freely about Freeman.
Our friend tj34 has made the most extreme heel turn I have ever seen. He has been nauseatingly positive for 15 years and is now pretty much calling for Freeman to be fired. He's saying there is stuff that goes way beyond this Stuckey business.
