We have a good football team but the difference between a good team and a winning record is the QB position we not only don’t have one, we don’t have one that doesn’t seem to actively sabotage the team it is literally all that matters this offseason
Rhule deserves some blame for not managing the game well. There’s like an 80% chance you win with a FG on that last drive.

It was 10-10 late in the 4th. Wtf made them think they needed a TD so bad that they were going to risk it with their 3rd string QB? Children understand the game better than that.
On one hand, they said from day one we are going to play for red zone touchdowns and we have confidence in Chubba. On the other, just take the points and then blitz them into the ground
I’ve been in favor of giving Satt the benefit of the doubt, it’s very hard to call plays with this QB room. I’m out now. Calling a pass when our 3rd string QB is in because the top 2 can’t stop throwing interceptions. Take a knee if you have to, kick the field goal. QB sneak, kick the field goal. Hand the ball to the running back (on the drive where our RB was actually having success), kick the field goal. There is zero reason the put the ball anywhere near harms way.
Satt was supposed to be at the presser but he got lost on the way to the locker room. We think he wandered into the sky boxes somewhere but we haven't found him yet

Johnson looked good ALL game and we continued to fucking do the dumbest shit. The play call could be PERFECT. But you have freshman wrs who could run a wrong route, drop a pass, etc. along with no qb that can functionally hit a pass or read a defense. it’s a classic example of, ‘2 things can go wrong when you pass the ball instead of 1’ we fumble the ball a lot, but only that can be the worst outcome.
I think Satt could be a decent OC with a good qb but he absolutely refuses to accept these limitations. It’s stupidity or ego or both.
Last season when he had Rattler, he never called any designed rollout plays and throwing on the run is probably Spencer's greatest strength.
It’s where he has to simply say, ‘NO, when the play call comes in.’ I’m sure it’s like most programs where it’s hard to override it with time and shit, but at that point maybe you just fucking burn the timeout and say, ‘Johnson up the gut, somebody make a good block and leave Johnson against the linebackers.’ It goes against everything they think with ego but you have to know what you got and none of it is it. There is a reason Purdy hasn’t seen the field, it’s cause he sucks too. We saw that last year. He showed nothing outside of the keeper on qb decision. Once they get film or even 2 drives he is a turnover machine…like they all are.
Even if that's true I have no confidence in his ability to optimize a good situation considering how badly he's bungled this one
This year feels like Rhule thinks it should be one way and Satt thinks it should be another and they’re fighting between accepting who they are and who they wish they were.
Satt called the play, but Rhule takes the blame. He 100% needs to take control there. Hell, maybe Rhule did call the play….we don’t know. With that said, I’m fully on board with sacrificing Satt to the sun god.
Fire satt for the egregious play calling. The "not maximizing his personnel" thing? Nah. There's fucking shit for personnel. Absolutely. Fucking. Shit. You're not making a decent offense out of this trash ever. The only person I hold accountable for that is scoot farts. Reason I'm prolly the last to the fire satt party is that I really detest unreasonable expectations.
I posted a video a couple pages back of our players overruling him in what turned out to be the most important play of the entire season. Dabo would have been in the playoff last season had they not stood up to Satt.
