Daniels will get his, we just have to limit the 50 yard runs to 15 yard runs. What will help that is establishing the run and limiting his possessions as long as our long drives become TDs and not FGs, I feel ok.
I think we’ll be the best defense he’s faced all year. Not the best DL but best overall defense. Would be great to hold them far below expectations and the talk after the game is how ridiculous this Alabama defense is.
We’re the best defense they’ve faced by a good margin. Just need a couple stops / holds to FG. We held them last year to 24 in regulation on the road with a WSP defense. I’m not too worried about us defensively mainly because I expect us to score at will on them. Their defense is that bad and we can stretch the field now. In a shootout i like our chances to get more stops than their defense vs our offense, in my mind there’s only one way we can lose Saturday and that’s if we turn the ball over like we did against Texas. If we play clean offensively we’re scoring 50+
Oh certainly. I just think it’s a very favorable matchup for us against their defense. They’re allowing nearly 13 yards per completion and we have proven to be very efficient with deeper passes. Every team they’ve played has been able to stretch the field on them and score on them aside from auburn who basically has a Buchner at QB. Their pass defense has been atrocious but they also can’t stop the run. Every major team defense stat has lsu in the bottom half of the country (total defense, passing def, rush def, pass eff. def etc) anywhere from 75 - 100. Rose colored glasses or what not but after seeing Arkansas, ole miss and mizzou have their way with them gives me plenty of hope

I think Walters plays a good bit off the bench. He’s too good of a shooter to not play. This team will definitely take a step back defensively but offensively I think we are going to be a 80 a night type team or better. I think this teams offense is really good and should be built to handle not shooting amazing from outside. Estradas mid range game. Nelson around the rim and driving. I think we will be a more consistent scoring team.
