So you are thinking a renegotiated TV deal is going to take place in the next month or 2? That sounds ambitious at best. edit: I see now you said 1-2 months for the step after the TV deal. Anyways, none of this is happening until next summer at the earliest.
Because adding the new teams changes the TV deal. That TV deal numbers have to be accurate in the lawsuit. The TV deal hasn't been ratified, so the changes to the deal are not official. We have to wait for them to become official before we can accurately file the lawsuit. I would assume that the ACC got a pretty good idea of what the new TV deal would look like from ESPN prior to voting to add the new teams. I'm sure that was part of the decision making process. So I doubt much more negotiating will happen. Most likely just crossing T's and dotting I's.
You can file suit and amend details as they change in the complaint later. I don't see how that's a major impediment.
"They may be at the G5 level, but you'll see them I think immediately perform well in our league" yeah I don't think that comes off like he intended
We have in-house counsel and have hired an army of attorneys, media consultants, etc... to guide this process. This is the process they have said we should go. They know a lot more about this than I do. I am just relaying what I know.
After watching Clemson this year I think they've missed their window. They were never B1G material but now I don't think the SEC would consider it.
They would have been in some barn burner games in this year’s b1g west. Could have fit in quite nicely there really. I could see a nice Iowa / Clemson rivalry develop.
it's not so much what you "know," it's what you've been told by people either fos or not privy to all of the pertinent info I imagine Clemson will be out in a year or two though so some updated time frame will work out eventually
If you only knew the people the info came from, your tune would change quickly. But I understand the skepticism. To you, I’m just a nobody internet poster and the info came from some random guy.
That's not true at all. They do sex pesty stuff on the field and have plenty of experience with cheating through their steroid program. They're as B1G as they come
the three ACC additions for next year were known well before your October proclamation, I'd imagine someone truly in the know would've understood how that would extend and muddy the timeframe (assuming that's what's actually happening here) I don't doubt you having a plugged in source fwiw, I do doubt your source's level of knowledge and understanding in this case and posting extremely detailed info as gospel is funny to me
Damn, you guys need some new lawyers. If they don’t know that pleadings can be amended, or that damages aren’t even calculated until after a finding of fault, than I doubt they get you out of the GOR.
Sir, please understand that what everyone has believed to be impossible to get out of for years, others schools have had to pay millions to do for just a couple years of leaving early, takes time to do with just a sweep of the pen with seemingly no penalties.
I swear the people involved with qanon had to be familiar with cfb home boards. They follow such a similar pattern of stringing you along.
Sex criminal Phillips and swofford conned people into signing up for the GOR using fraudulent data on acc network returns. Lawsuit can’t be filed until the books are opened up for the new schools, thus establishing the fraud in the inducement. Possibly.
sounds like Yormark still doesn’t have support from the presidents on Gonzaga, to the surprise of no one. if it happens it will be closer to the 2031 contract
Saw where the pac-2 and the mountain west is working on a scheduling agreement much like ND and the ACC
Nope, though Mizzou has a team that competes in a different conference. But no other SEC program has had a team since 1981. The conference didn’t have a long history with the sport (only started in 1970), not all schools had programs, and the ones who did lost money. Decided Title IX resources on mens sports was better utilized for football.
#Southern California Trojans #Oregon Ducks #UCLA Bruins #Washington Huskies how are your wrestling programs
