Holy shit refs just missed the most blatant Seattle throwing their stuck to stop a great one time chance and puck goes down ice and Seattle scores other way
Nah He's really good but NJ's payroll is extremely healthy right now and their core is young. Letting him go after this year will hurt but it's the right move. The only way NJ isn't a cup contender for most of the next decade is if they start giving money and term to guys north of 30. Plus, Jack is inflating the numbers of virtually everyone he plays with rn.
I find it ridiculous they rescinded the suspension. Honestly, the better play would have been to also tack a game on Tuch. Those two were trying to kill each other all night.
Feel like offside should be reset when a team gets possession having multiple chances to clear but it was offside on entrance 30 seconds earlier is shit
but then the league can automatically review it and rescind it if it FEELS the fight was more heat of the moment…. really?
I don’t watch enough other teams but that’s a top 5 player in the league easily. Historic start to the season for him
McDavid and Makar are non-negotiables imo. then you have Drai, Matthews, Mackinnon, Hughes, Pasta, in some order Edit: Kucherov probably deserves to be in there somewhere as well.
Gudbranson put on a visor a few years ago and hasn't taken it off. Lucic is back with the Bruins. My guess will be that Benn is last man standing unless Gudbranson takes his visor off just so he can say he was the last one.
I mean Gudbranson should have been out of the league years ago, yet teams keep giving him money. It’s absurd.
To be fair, you are playing against a team that is using Patrick Maroon 40 seconds into a power play.
I’m under no delusions about how their season will eventually go but I don’t think anyone had them winning 4 of their first 7. (assuming they hold on because they did blow a 2-0 lead in Vegas)
I think you have another year until that happens but you might make a #1 seeds life hell before it happens.
