Yeah, it’s not fun. Hoping to not have to do this for too much longer. The internship was supposed to be over in June but they keep extending it so now it’s going through the end of December. The other PT job is temporary and I just started it like three weeks ago. It should also end around December Just a lot of water to try and stay hydrated and some caffeine most days Kind of both, I could make ends meet without some of the work but it’s reducing my debt much quicker by doing all of this. I just want to get to where I feel better about my finances and with some of the things that have happened in the last two years personally burying myself in work has made the days go by faster

Pearl Jam already gave that a go. Tried to get around Ticketmaster. Tour was a disaster. All the bands supporting them backed out after Ticketmaster got to them and then Congress ignored it.
That’s also bc they are a giant band who play giant venues that have exclusive deals with ticket companies. Smaller bands I’ve listened to that play smaller venues have done tickets direct to fans successfully. But anyone playing house of blues or bigger is never gonna happen, currently.

This is completely anecdotal, but America has to have the dumbest political discourse on the planet. Dems have won more or less every election of consequence since the 2016 General and yet we get weekly diatribes about how, actually, that is bad for the Democratic Party.
Except contractors get fucked on benefits like insurance, bonuses, PTO most of the time, etc. And in my experience most companies hire contractors so they can let them go at the drop of a dime without offering severance and shit like that. I’ve been contract for over two years at my current job and have missed out on a ton of benefits and pay.
