White hat was thinking about how he lost his parlay when he made that call. That was a huge, huge win. Don't care how ugly it was.
rees shouldn’t have had him running a play in the first place. maybe if he’s not up in the booth he can actually coach his players in the moment
Roll damn Tide. We can get to the playoffs with Jalen playing like that. Defense is damn near elite. Love it for Jalen. I was a doubter.
Awful audible aside, best game of Milroe's career by a mile. He's making better throws and decisions and did it with an awful first half performance by the OL. Even the pick wasn't awful, really good play by the safety and Niblack didn't attack the ball as well as he could have.
Get ready for Atlanta, champs! The west is gonna be ours. Great win in a hostile road SEC environment. Great second half effort. Still can improve too with just being smarter. Milroe can get us a championship. Just need the OL to figure it out.
Absolutely huge win. Jalen got that dog in him. The team made a ton of stupid errors right down to the end but aside from that, played one hell of a game. Been a long time since I was this pleased and proud of the team in a close, regular season game
I don't think the intention was to snap it with 18 seconds left. I think we got to the line, saw a look we 100% hot check to an outside throw, and Milroe ran it quick. Great check in the 2nd qtr, not there.
If our run, pass, and defense all shows up at the same place at the same time we’re damn good. If two out of three show up we can still win a lot of games.
Milroe and McLaughlin had their best games when we absolutely needed it most. Been saying it for years but we have to cut the dumb shit out. We are as good as anyone in the country if we eliminate the mistakes
Milroe was really good today. And outside of the dumb shit penalty stuff the OL was fantastic in pass blocking. The only time they got pressure was 3rd and longs.
No. Sometimes he’s good, sometimes he’s shit. If our defense stays this hot we can deal with milroe doing stupid shit. But not with the penalties too.
Gotta be honest I've lost a lot of confidence in him. We do straight up incompetent stuff semi regularly
Also after Milroe's pick I changed into old ratty clothes from the early 2010s and I'm not saying I'm the reason but I'm not not the reason.
There's a difference between watching Milroe leading up to this season and thinking he wasn't going to cut it and then almost actively pulling against him during the season. There's a decent chunk of our fanbase that want him to fail . People need to accept him and rally around him. Simpson isn't going to start. Milroe is our guy. He's not perfect but we can win with him.
Honestly idk. I think it was a lineup and look the sideline deal, they saw the WR uncovered, and ran the play.
Man the Milroe experience is quite a ride. Thought he really settled down and played pretty well in the second half. Hit a lot of intermediate routes that we’ve been missing most of the year. I still would like to see more designed runs for him. That being said, him throwing the ball in that last series might have been the single dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.
Don't want to seem like I'm bagging on Milroe, he's a main reason we won that game. Idk how he got the ball out on the last 3rd down. And that dime to Burton on the TD in the corner. A couple wtf plays but overall we can win if he plays like that.
If this is directed at me, I don’t want him to fail. Nor do I want any of the other qbs we’ve put out.
He ran it quick too because he saw a guy uncovered. I get it, but it can never happen in that spot. Ever. Game was over.
Literally 3 kneels runs out the clock. With a center who has issues snapping in the shotgun any other play than qb under center kneel was a mistake. Just thank god it didn’t actually cost us.
Given his demeanor everytime he's shown in the booth, it may be best that he's up there instead of moping in front of the players. But holy shit, yes, an OC on the sidelines talking to him before prevents that.
Yea idk, I'm interested to hear what Saban said. I think they lined up quick in part bc they may have wanted to run something quick to avoid a review. Just a really weird play.
Wonder if Dalcourt got hurt. Anyone hear something on that? Hoping beyond hope that Moore and Burnip will be OK even if they gotta take a few weeks off.
agree. We’re just gonna have to live with some Wild shit this year but honestly thought he played his best game here, accounting for the environment and the opponent
I think we were running hurry up to avoid a review. Almost certainly had a run called and Jalen checked out, which is just inexcusably awful. Thank goodness it didn’t cost us anything but some heightened heart rates.
Buy clothes don’t wear them to keep them fresh buy clothes to keep the prior clothes in shape Wait 10 years Hope you’re stepping out in stylish clothes or drink enough for it not to matter Rinse and repeat Die
If Milroe can eliminate just half of these bizarre mental lapses we are a playoff team. He has played really well the past 2 weeks minus a handful of plays.
I need a full RJF-GUMP zappruder laptop footage manifesto about the two phantom false starts on 77 when their DL shifted. Send that shit to Sankey.
