One of my high school nicknames was Tu Pac, b/c I got disc one of All Eyez On Me stuck in my car’s CD player for about 4 months. If I went over a bump too hard, it would go back to track #1, Ambitionz as a Ridah.
I can't believe I'm watching a police press conference in 2023 that's showing the hotel fight from 1996.
They said they knew very quickly what happened but didn't really have enough until Keefe decided to start talking about it a lot in 2018. Seems like they were just going to leave along until then.
So it’s exactly what everyone concluded and some prosecutor wants to get their name out there Riveting saga, understand why dbl made this his life work
It essentially became my ‘walk up’ song for any social event, b/c my friends thought it was funny to play it as I showed up to parties, the bowling alley, or anywhere they could successfully have it play over loud speakers. But yes, it’s a badass song.
Well, it’s not like he has her recite all of that in front of a shrine to Tu Pac in the shoe room…I think
You at least recognized it was silly and put it on the backburner. Dbl had his wife record him on her phone so their child could understand the ambitionz of a white ridah. Video diary.
I recorded that. She was on my lap. You can see her fall off at the end. I think wife is partially on the left when it starts. No need to make me more weird than I already am.
If I have one piece of advice for new dads, it's "don't raise your children in the image of your message board persona."
I don't have a message board persona. I think I've been pretty transparent on who I am for the last 15 years. I don't act like something I'm not on the internet.
well, in his defense, I went through his YouTube videos and didn’t see any where his daughter is yelling “nog”. so, he’s doing something right
Thought of you. Found the old thread in the archive. You pointed me in the direction of… Absolutely insane an arrest was made, but at the same time, the case has been pretty much solved for years. Now Biggie would be interesting.
Yea tbh it's kinda frustrating. It's been out there for 10+ years, why in the hell did it take so long to finally arrest the last living person involved? Did they just not give a shit about it enough to waste their time? I hope at some point there's an explanation on why it took so long when the whole story has been literally told by the guy for a decade.
Estate-authorized biography released today. Started the audio this morning. It's 14 hours so it'll take me a week or so to listen in 30 minute blocks to and from work but the early reviews are good. https://www.audible.com/author/Tupac-Shakur/B001IGX14C
