Saban’s insistence on having Milroe try to run “the Alabama offense” has become a laughing stock nationally. Huge mistake thinking this was how to help Milroe develop. I don’t care if that doesn’t prepare him for the NFL. Neither does this horseshit. Should have put him in a offense that allowed him to show how well he can do the things he does well. But instead, Saban has put the team at a disadvantage.
I think this is the worst team we’ve seen since 2007 by far. And has potential to be one of Sabans worst ever. Which is impressive with the amount of talent we have.
If he gave a shit about his development, he should have encouraged him to go into the portal and helped guide him to a place that would utilize his strengths, and gotten another portal guy capable of running the "Alabama offense" before Rees was even hired.
Milroe has taken at least 2 sacks where he had crazy amounts of time but just took a sack instead of throwing it away. Also threw a catastrophic INT. He's terrible. If he's the best option then Saban completely fucked us. We're doomed to 8-4 or 9-3 at best if he's our best option.
