Ewers has played well but minus 2-3 key throws a lot of this has just been busts or absolutely toasted DBs
This one is on the coaches. They're trying to put a square peg into a round hole and I'm honestly shocked they couldn't see it earlier
Not that it would make a difference with our QB situation, but taking a look at guys like Keon Coleman and Mitchell may have been a smart move in hindsight as well. Instead we sat around and waited for BoB to be released from contract and ended up with Buchner on offense.
Saban's treatment of coordinators since Sark left has honestly been infuriating. Letting Pete stay as long as he did was egregious for even infer that that, but the OCs have just been so uninspiring.
Looked very human for 3 quarters . Milroe didn’t do shit for the entire game. How many times can the offense go 3 and out against an offense like this and expect the defense to get stop after stop?
I won’t argue with it. Sloppy and undisciplined play. Dominated at the LOS on both sides. Bad QB play. What part of this team is even close to being elite?
You had to know there was a problem when Saban replaced the play caller on defense at the beginning of the season.
Yea it's hard to argue at this point. You can see "it" when watching and they just don't have the same stuff. In hindsight, seems more and more like this may have started 1-2 years ago and was just masked by Bryce and Will and a few others.
Not sure we have a 1st round pick next year tbh. Said it last year, we just have a bunch of guys. We don't have the high end players we used to. Not sure if that's on the former coordinators, Saban, or other staff but we just haven't developed players the last few years. Last year we had Bryce and Will and that was about it. The roster just isn't what it used to be.
Wasn’t impressed by Rees tonight either, though it’s hard to judge since the execution definitely wasn’t there tonight.
