Doing my first fantasy league since Charlie Garner was in the league so I'm sure this will go well. Playing in a 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 Flex league with 6 pt. passing touchdowns. I know some have alluded to QB being more important in the 6 pt. leagues but am I crazy in thinking it doesn't really matter? I pick at 12/13 so if I do want a top-6 QB I would have to use one of my first 4 picks on one. Based on projections and ADP, the difference in total projected points from a Burrow/Lamar/Fields/Herbert and a Round 9/10 QB is about 50 points. RB and WR hold just about the same difference. Obviously, QB points are higher but it seems like value is better used on higher quality skill position guys early (especially w/ 2 flex spots) and grabbing 2 QBs late to rotate. I'd much rather have a combo of Etienne and Tua/Geno/Daniel Jones/Cousins than Lamar and Charbonnet. It just feels like the dropoff from Rd.3 RB/WR to Rd. 10 RB/WR is greater than the dropoff from Rd. 3 QB to Rd. 10 QB. Am I off base in my line of thinking?
Already got a trade offer Who wins? Team A gets Calvin Ridley and Alvin Kamara Team B gets Mike Evans and Dalvin Cook
That's a tough one but probably Team A if they have the depth to weather the games Kamara is suspended for. But Mike Evans' dependability of at least 70 receptions and 1000 yds is a nice floor. Problem is really Cook. Jets OL sucks and he's in a committee.
Just finished my draft and I hate my team. Accidentally ended up snagging saquon for more than I wanted to spend and messed up my whole strategy going in. Basically have my bench as all hail mary’s hoping one or two hit. QB - Herbert RB - Saquon, Walker III, Kamara, Herbert, Spears, Achane WR - Kupp, Hopkins, Skyy Moore, Rashee Rice, Doubs, Hodgkins TE - Goedert
i like that team a lot. you'll probably want to snag another rookie/breakout wr just because kupp and hopkins are both injury prone and older but i like all of your starters
Is last year's version of Kamara what we can expect moving forward? Was his performance more about the Saints poor offense (Dalton) in general or has he lost THAT much juice?
Feel like I have a mediocre team. 12 team .5 ppr QB: Dak RB: CMC, Etienne, Brian Robinson, Achane, Mitchell WR: D. Smith, Amari, Pittman, G. Davis, Flowers, Toney TE: hockenson
drafted tonight, 12 team, 0.5 ppr, 4 prior keepers (mine were herbert, lamar, chase, and st brown) obviously had a great core coming in but i'm only decently happy with what i was able to grab. don't love either of my starting RBs, i have a ton of youth on the bench (and even in the lineup), and like half of my team is out on week 13 for bye weeks. was hoping to grab j mingo or j reed but they were snagged right before me and i ended up with nacua.
post your draft i don't understand I guess all teams with 4 keepers so the best 48 players were keepers? is that why your team after keepers is such shit?
keeper costs were based on last year's draft position, so Lamar/Herbert/Chase cost me my first three rounders and ARSB cost me a 6th rounder. there were 6 first round keepers, 8 second round keepers, and 5 third round keepers so the first three rounds saw just 17 selections. by the time i picked at R4P10, something like 44 keepers + 24 selections were off the board so getting Cook/Johnson where I did felt more like having them as 6th or 7th rounders.
12 Team snake Draft. .5 PPR Thoughts comments suggests QB Hurts RB Bijan RB Pacheco WR Devonta Smith WR Diontae Johnson TE Andrews Flex : Lockett Bench Antonio Gibson Elijah Moore Zay Flowers Jaylen Warren Daniel Jones Kendra Miller
Very solid squad, no clear weaknesses iyam A top wideout target would be nice in a 0.5 ppr league, but Andrews makes up for it as long as he stays healthy
Doing an online FFPC draft for the fantasy pros championship right now and Jeff Mans from SiriusXM is in the league lol
I like it. Bijan and the Eagles stack will be fun. Warren and Flowers potential late season sleepers.
I know right? It’s a tourney so guys do kooky things or may have a bunch of shares of a player so they do some different stuff.
Just took Kupp at 2.12 in a SF best ball draft. I'm simultaneously surprised he actually fell that far and feel kinda nervous about being the one to pull the trigger on him. I will either be a genius or a moron
14 team start draft tonight. Standard scoring. Any draft strategies people ascribe to for that kind of league?
https://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/538834/8/draftrecap Just finished my 12 man home league. Wasn't expecting to draft a qb early but got hurts as the 4th qb in the 3rd round.
who wins team a: olave, aiyuk, james conner, daniel carlson team b: st brown, dotson, aj dillon, cameron dicker
A by the numbers. Unless you want a little more of a gamble on Dillon. Unless things change this year (and there have been hints of it) he's just a very valuable yet unstartble handcuff.
Full PPR league, complete redraft. Took 4th pick but could’ve taken 2nd pick. 12 team league. QB: Hurts RB: McCaffrey, Miles Sanders, Khalil Herbert, Jamaal Williams, Deon Jackson, Elijah Mitchell WR: Jaylen Waddle, Christian Watson, JSN, Adam Thielen, Allen Lazard, Van Jefferson TE: Hockenson Def: Philly
12 team .75 PPR, one keeper from previous year taken sixth round or later. Any thoughts, feedback, suggestions are appreciated QB: Justin Herbert RB: Travis Etienne RB: Dalvin Cook WR: Justin Jefferson WR: Chris Olave (keeper) Flex: Tee Higgins TE: Pat Freiermuth Def: Washington K: Harrison Butker Bench: Khalil Herbert David Montgomery Derek Carr Jerome Ford Courtland Sutton Chigoziem Okonkwo
Your chance at the playoffs is dependent on CMC staying healthy and getting production out of whoever ends up your #2 RB. I don't know what to expect from Christian Watson but I expect JSN to catch a thousand balls in the slot.
Agreed. Was a huge run on WR’s early so Waddle was the best I could get late 2nd round. Going to be depending on Williams as RB2 for a few weeks with no Kamara and Kendra banged up. Maybe Sanders settles in with a rookie QB after a few weeks. I love Watson and think he has a big year, but lot of unknowns with this team for sure.
I drafted Taylor rd 8 pick 94 in a 12 team super flex last night. He’s my rb4 and I still hated the pick
10 Team Standard scoring, picked from the 10th spot. I feel pretty good about it. QB: Lamar Jackson, Anthony Richardson RB: Bijan Robinson, David Montgomery, Javonte Williams, Raheem Mostert, Jaylen Warren WR: Aj Brown, Jaylen Waddle, Keenan Allen, Drake London, Jordan Addison TE: Pat Freiermuth
Assuming JJ goes 1, I’m taking CMC at 2. You’ll likely have some good WRs like Olave, Smith, and Higgins waiting for you at the 2/3 turn.
This is the answer. Get the elite running back and snag two receivers in 2 and 3. In the one draft I had with the first pic I took JJ as he’s the obvious choice but looking at how the draft unfolded I wish I had gone CMC. Waddle and Olave came back to me at the turn which ultimately led to me taking two running backs I’m not fond of in Walker and Dobbins.
Never done an auction draft before but my long term big $ league changed to it this year. Half PPR, full IDP, $200 auction budget. This is going to be a shit show. Anybody ever done auction in an IDP league? Wondering about budget allocation
Hate this team. 6th pick, 12 team PPR. I picked Justin Fields in 2 of my 3 leagues, so I'm guaranteed to get burned by him. Spoiler
That’s a really solid team, don’t let yourself discount having Kelce as the top pick You have a good mix of upside at WR/RB….and like you said, just need Fields to not burn you
definitely think that is a solid team. here is my 12 team ppr keeper big money league QB: Josh Allen, Anthony Richardson RB: Rhamondre Stevenson, Breece Hall, AJ Dillon, Zach Charbonnet, Roschon Johnson WR: Ceedee Lamb, A. St Brown, Jahan Dotson, Treylon Burks, Marvin Mims TE: TJ Hockenson, C, Okonkwo D/ST: Ravens K: Dicker
