Side note I almost exclusively “just ride”. Have no issue pushing myself and have a mileage goal. Up my mileage goal week over week.
been doing a lot of lanebreak. took a look at the last 20-30 days of classes. lots of good stuff on there, IMO. Will be fun to work through a bunch of new classes over the next few weeks
Dennis’ ride yesterday was awesome. Opened with One by Metallica into Black by Pearl Jam and I was dead after 12 minutes after pushing myself, but still had a lot of great stuff left That said, they need to filter the classes for attendees by music or something. Crowd on their bikes was dead and looked scared of the music or something and it was bumming me out
Embarrassingly it’s been a whiiile since I rode last. What streaming services are all available now? Always thought it’d be nice to be able to throw some CFB on and just ride for awhile. Hoping that’s possible now if YTTV is available.
Haven’t posted in forever but we celebrated the wife and I both getting promotions within a month of one another by getting the rower and it’s amazing. I have no idea if it’ll ever actually be successful but I am using it more than the bike.
100%. I made a mistake of only doing rides of the instructors I thought were hot when I first got it. Now I only do power zone and am loving it so much more.
When I was riding consistently PZ rides were my go to. Was mad at myself I didn’t start doing them until like 6 months into having the bike.
I thought I had to focus to see the reactions. Nope! It’s hilariously obvious. In the warm up some girl basically saying fuck this at 50 cadence while Dennis is going 120 and singing was great.
Meant to come itt after I did the ride that day. Just a stellar playlist and Denis is regularly one of my favorite instructors, yoga or cycle.

I just did it and it shows up as an “entertainment ride” under my list of previous workouts. It shows all the normal metrics (duration, distance, output, cadence, etc). The metrics that show up on the screen while Netflix are playing are somewhat limited though. And my Apple Watch connected but it didn’t show the little heart rate graphic on the screen.
I did it and the metrics disappeared quickly in to the ride and I could t get them back. I rode for an hour but peloton was only tracking 4 minutes of it.
I don’t understand the point or desire for this feature. I hate riding or running at the gym. It’s boring. The point of Peloton to me has always been the interaction. But, to each his own.
maybe we have a different definition of “interaction” I simply mean the class. The point of peloton to me was feeling like I was in a social setting while at home not just riding a stationary bike at a gym. I assume you mean something different because if you mean that, why not just buy a regular stationary bike and put an iPad holder and save 1000s of dollars? Edit. Maybe interactive is a better word for me to have used.
I can appreciate both. I love the Peloton classes for what they offer in regards to motivation and creating a sense of a community workout. At the same time, I’m probably gonna just zone out at some point during the day and watch some trash tv, so I like having the option to at least burn a few hundred extra calories while I do it. I probably won’t use the Netflix feature all that often until they work the bugs out.
For me, sometimes I do classes, and sometimes I'll free ride during a sporting event, when I would normally be ass in the couch. So I can see why both use cases would be convenient

Her rides ares till my go-to for an absolute asskicking. Almost all of my highest outputs are to her metal rides.
Yeah i did one of her metal rides this morning and it killed me. Anyone of some suggested classes? something like 20-30min that's not going to kick my ass at 7am like hers did
Denis, as mentioned a bunch on this page. I really like Robin's rides, too. Both are tough but not PR-level tough every time like Emma and Kendall can be.
