They might not have the internet but they filled up 80% of Allegiant in the last two pac12 championship games. Nice fellas.
Oh I agree they’re going to attempt to poach assets, I just think targets might be a little different than you do. I also think that the expansion carousel is spinning slowly to a stop right now
oh I know, that’s why no one has posted him in here the last year. dude is a legit nutjob. just entertaining
truly is a weird feeling becoming older and realizing that you come to hate all of them lol when I was younger it was cool that Nebraska had the most billionaires per capita and now I’m like…welp.
Unc, uva, Clemson, and Fsu are all essentially guaranteed to get snatched up in the process. You're crazy if you think otherwise. The whole thing is being driven by the networks and ratings. Say what you want about our performance on the field over the last few years, but we're still one of the top programs in the country when it comes to viewership, which is all the networks care about. And that's during our down years. You're insane if you think we'll just get left without a home.
I keep seeing "Oregon" but I keep reading it as "Orgeron" in my head. So you can imagine the three seconds of confusion when I read that Ed Orgeron interrupted the Pac 12's GOR meeting with an announcement that he was joining the Big Ten.
realignment won’t slow down, expansion probably will. the G5s worth bringing up mostly have been. SDSU may be the last one left looking in through the window
You don't think the B1G has any interest in establishing a foothold in the South and becoming the only true national band in the 2nd most popular sport in the country? Again, some of y'all are not paying attention...
I knew Buffet lived in Omaha but wasn't sure if he was involved with UNL or not. I had a cousin play baseball there and another uncle that attended, I've got a soft spot for the Skers
They won’t be a true national brand unless they moved into Texas, which has much larger media markets than Florida
That's fine. But once the domino falls and the B1G enters the South, the SEC will start grabbing up the other available assets in the region. Clemson and FSU are too valuable to just get left out. That's crazy talk.
Do you live in Florida? Genuinely asking because if so, you would know that our population is made up of equal parts Ohio, Illinois, NY and Pennsylvania…
SDSU paying to leave the Mountain West and join the Pac-12 at the end June could've been a very amusing storyline.
I refuse to have both Purdue and Illinois in my division. You get current Berts. We’ll take former Berts.
I do. I'm not talking about transient fans though. The B1G, imo, is looking to go national and potentially usurp the NCAA as the most influential organization in college athletics. I think they're looking to actually expand into the south. Which, again, incentivizes the SEC to also consolidate assets in their territory. In summary, I don't really care where we end up. But the ACC is dying, the poaching is eminent, and FSU is too valuable to get left out in the cold on this. So I, for one, look forward to the Power 2 future of the sport (sorry big xii/ucf fans).
Feeling like the Big 12 should be stopping at 14 and really being a bit picky with the remaining life vests.
Big fan of our 2024 schedule Non conference games vs Pitt and PSU Conference game vs Colorado Makes sense
