She did say she was fighting for her life and if she was at a red roof inn, it's hard to dispute that

She bought snacks before disappearing at a Target that were not found in her car when police arrived. There is also surveillance video of her walking alone through her neighborhood before showing up at her house
Just an unfortunate situation. I hope they get her some mental health, because if it was that bad then, when she goes on social media now, Im scared what she might do to herself
One of her Google searches the day she disappeared was “How to steal money from a register without getting caught”
I think blaming mental illness whenever someone does something we don’t understand does a disservice to those who really struggle with mental illness. Unfortunately, it’s the go to.
Of course. But, there’s a lot of real estate between mental illness and “she’s just an attention whore.”
I choose to believe anybody that follows through with such a plan is suffering from mental health issues diagnosed or not

You know me and you know I wholeheartedly agree with this. My issue is that when things of this nature are discussed and labeled “mental health issues “ it’s not to get the individual help or to focus on our mental health crisis but to excuse or blame mental illnesses for these situations. I hope I’m making sense. I wish this woman would get evaluated and get help if she needs it but all that will happen is people will say “obviously she has issues” and move on.
From what I have heard and understand is that she fucked up in multiple ways and for some reason thought this would fix it. The only mental health break is being a sociopath and thinking this was a good idea.
I guess I’m confused as to why there was even an Amber Alert. There was nothing that actually indicated a child abduction outside of this person basically saying there was a kid on the side of the freeway.
