That pitching staff is so bad (two top starters out), but holy shit. That 7 footer, #49, might be the worst college pitcher going. I swear in 24 hours he threw 30 pitches and 29 of them were balls.

I would see what @Big Red or jrmy or adephoi or sc_chant or Louis Holth has to say about that. We've had some good players but SC baseball will always have a few of those. He did do a good job with the transfers he brought in this year I know.

Is there something special about this Wake team? I haven't followed baseball this season, but seeing the bracket, they have scored:

12, 21, 15, 5, and 22 runs in their last 5 games and the announcers during the Texas/Stanford game said they had #1 ERA in the nation.

Just glanced and they have scored 15 or more runs like 10 times during the regular season.
