I mean, ALL players are getting the bag. LIV forced PGA to drastically up purses and I have to imagine they are going to go even higher with Saudi money.
hopefully they just infuse all the saudi cash to improve the product (less ads, bigger purses, etc) and ditch all the other LIV bullshit.
This just seems like the PGA execs had to hold out and show it couldn’t be easily taken over by LIV in the beginning so the Saudis would have be forced to pay out the execs if they wanted golf. The grandstanding from the pga was just them upset they weren’t getting what DJ and Brooks were getting.
Probably better for the players in the long run but goddamn does the PGA tour look like the biggest fucking hypocrites
God those PGA guys that didn’t jump ship for boatloads of money have got to be so pissed. Brooks and them probably laughing so hard. LIV was awful. Glad they are all together again but holy hell at the shit show.

In most mergers, contracts are binding. Are the LIV guys just going to make 10x the PGA guys to play in the same events?
