Is Eight best overall? What are good / value omakase? 13 water in Alphabet City I could get 13 pieces for $75.
Every time I visit Atlanta it makes me want to move there. Had a good brunch in midtown this morning before heading back. F.I.L.A.
Steak at Whoopsies is awesome Ladybird was out of control. Starting to miss the plot but luckily they have Ranger Station.
Januar February and half of March are pretty miserable here with the weather. I definitely have SAD. Otherwise yes to Atlanta rest of the year.
The cold/gloomy? I’m down 20 in Augusta area so the weather I think is similar other than Atlanta getting more chances of snow typically.
Yeah. I really struggle that time of year. I’m from SoFla so I don’t know if it’s my upbringing or it’s in my genes, but I can’t handle the cold and gloom. I’m fine on days there’s sun out with snow. The persistent gloom and drizzling just messes with me. Plus getting off work and it’s dark outside and cold. The second the clock changes, I seem to snap out of my funk. Been this way ever since I moved here in 2018.
Just got a text from a client's building. Apparently a shooter around Northside Hospital...but they are locking down around downtown & O4W
Not the main campus. The medical building and clinic on West Peachtree. Edit: Sorry if that was implied but don’t want any Johnson Ferry bros freaking out.
I appreciate clarification, sister is there having a baby right now, and I just saw northside and had a mini panic attack
yea think he tried carjacking the gas station on corner of spring and 14th, but idk if he was successful. Obviously an attempt to get on interstate.
Some lady replied to a tweet from the APD showing him (and a second guy!!!) on top of the Woodruff Arts Center parking deck like an hour ago
It’s not very helpful that people who clearly don’t live here keep conflating midtown with the main campus because it’s freaking a lot of people out
Is there two different incidents? Saw something about him being in Cobb County but also shots around Peachtree/Ponce
its all unconfirmed but shooter was in midtown at 14th and West Peachtree (not down south at Ponce) then carjacked and reports Ive seen on social media suggest he drove up to marietta area
Cops keep racing back and forth from The Battery to the galleria. Lot of people blissfully unaware of what’s going on.
Yeah I work across street from battery and there were cops everywhere. Looked like they were headed to Cobb Galleria at one point
Still a heavy police presence near Truist. Several cops with long guns still patrolling and they won’t let anyone turn on to Circle 75 from 41.
Just bought tickets for Boygenius at central park. I was thinking about staying in town. Love a quick trip with no kids.
A ex’s mom’s 50th had Richard Blais cooking dinner. This was back in like 2003 when he was at OMK and wasnt famous yet. That’s all I got.
Not really helpful, but I've hired one in Pensacola, as a gift to my parents. They loved it. I found him on a yellow pages online type website, and then cross referenced his reviews with all of the other chefs I was considering. It worked out. In Atlanta, my first call would be to Chef Dorian since she's been on quite a few shows.... https://www.chefdorian.com/ If she was too expensive, I'd probably use the method mentioned above, and option C would be to see if I could hire one of the Gunshow chefs on Mon-Weds when that restaurant is closed. If it's a bigger party, and you'd want BBQ, I'd look at Rasheed Phillips from the BBQ competition on Netflix.
