Someone made a good point about the CU roster situation. They've essentially thrown away their entire spring practice. Over half of the guys on their new roster will take their first snap as a team/practice approximately four to five weeks before we play them. I'd be more worried about CU next year. This year, especially early, they may be pretty rough.
Escorting a bunch of players with P5 experience out and swapping them for FCS players. What could go wrong. There's a chance Prime Tim is some kind of genius who's about to put CU back on the map but, man, I really don't think it's likely. I'm not too worried about either year
Their spring practice videos look like 1-3 dudes and then it's worse than what I saw in the GSC at the D2 level. We did land a commit today, what seems like a very heavy blocking TE, maybe potential to G/T? No idea. Also, 4 Star DE Jerod Smith is pretty much down to Michigan and Nebraska. I'm assuming Michigan, no idea though.
Since he committed over the weekend. McGahee's film and the Aiden/Caden from MN... has me excited again about the future of our defense and athletes in general.
Idk what his measurables are and how he’d look against competent QBs but Stenger looked serviceable on Saturday
Im sure it will be a disaster, but Colorado was like Bottom 3-5 team in P5 last year so who knows how much booting the old guys will matter. I think overall they’re setting themselves up for a complete meltdown though if stuff doesn’t take off quick.
Yeah, I’ve seen this song and dance a billion times. Everyone laughs and makes fun of Colorado then they boat-race us by 20.
I didn’t have to pay shit for that vas bro I used to post more frequently then I think the site crashed. Life happened and I payed less attention to crootin/postin plus husker sports have been misery since. Also add another great central Nebraska Husk itt. I’m golfing Wildhorse this Friday weather permitting.
It's in Boulder and they'll have the better QB. Nebraska won 4 games last year, it's not crazy to think they will lose.
Yea, Sims and Thompson won’t be the problem. Our p**py offensive line on the other hand could make Joe Flacco look bad
Nebraska’s not in the running here. He didn’t like his visit and didn’t comeback when his brother Jacob visited.
especially since there’s not a lot of great talent in the transfer portal rn. At the very least you want bodies for depth and practice, they might end up with under 80 kids by fall camp.
still like 10 over limit but I get your point. (I asked same thing, and in a response back text it was a bunch of offers from Buffalo and similar places. Aka, Frost not giving a shit type recruit)
I thought about that after I posted and it's definitely the wrong verbiage. Pointing the thumb over here
Just got done with a text conversation with my buddy that is a buff fan. He’s the definition of the this is fine gif. I couldn’t be more confident that we skull fuck them this September.
If we did ONE little thing differently in every game the last two years we probably have about 9 more wins. All indicators say we have a coach that focuses on those little things. CU lost almost every game they played by like 21+ points last year. They are under 20 scholarships right now. They essentially wasted their entire spring session and will put together a bunch of transfers who will have one month of time being together as a team under a guy who cares about exactly one of them.
