hopefully we get the Spanish dude if this does happen. Bona is a stud so congrats to whoever gets him. Rumor that Clark is coming back.
He has info sometimes, but this seems like he's making fun of the all the Dickinson reports about all the places he might end up than suggesting he actually knows something.
I can see now why Dickinson turned so many B1G fans off. When heard of him maybe going to KU all I really knew were his stats and highlights which are intriguing. It makes way more sense after seeing the distractions he brings with him.
Yeah, when he entered everyone was saying Zona. And Creighton fans were all butthurt claiming tampering by Arizona.
There was conjecture they'd be in play because Lloyd was his brothers lead recruiter at Gonzaga. Im not sure if there was anything past that or that it was a certainty he'd land there
Was considered a lock to us. And as was stated there claims of tampering where the Creighton site mod pretty much had a melty. Then he was convinced by his brother to head to Gonzaga. Now a lot of questions about if Tommy Lloyd can do the job losing another player who was considered a lock at the last minute.
He also got injured early this year and was out for a long while. He broke his finger in the first SEC game I know this because it was against Mizzou lol
Yeah he was pretty good his last season at iowa but between the injuries and poor play at UK, I can’t imagine they’re bummed to see him leave
Probably heading close to home. From East Texas and we were heavily involved with him out of HS, but think TCU or something like that is more likely. We’ll see.
The Michigan fans ITT and elsewhere who were happy when he entered the portal didn't tip you off in any way about that?
I didn't think he was quite that bad, it was just fans shitting on him. Not my pig, not my farm so didn't care very much. Things look different up close. Also, have no problem with kids getting compensated, however the free agency process now is disgusting.
Being closer to your child is probably a pretty effective recruiting pitch Also categorizing him as a top young shooter is certainly a choice
I'm shocked that a KU fan would prefer the free agent process before NIL that fewer teams participated in and you got to outbid everyone for less under the table.
KU really isn't going to lose much competitive advantage in the age of NIL regarding basketball. What sucks is that guys don't stick around as long or get pushed out and you don't get to root for them and watch them grow as much. I was happy to see guys like Dmac, Ochai, Braun get better and win a title vs clearing the roster and starting over all the time. It was what separated it from pro sports.
Check his month by month percentages and get back to me Edit: also his home road splits are very funny (they were less funny while watching him play this season)
That number was buoyed by a 3 game sample size. He ended the year on like an 0 for 24 streak or something crazy like that. When he's hot he can definitely get going though. Talent is there, I hope you guys are able to get him to live up to it, he's a great kid.
Seems more KU fans are starting to sour on Dick-Hunter as well. Quite a few want to spend the money on the 2-3 other top targets. Guess Barstoool appearance wasn't very endearing. I think Self wants to coach another 4-5 and will be in ring chasing mode until he retires so he probably plays HD game out to the end.
He sucked, but was well-liked by fans. Played hard, decent defender. Couldn't shoot for shit while at UK. Missed a ton of wide open looks this season, and progressively lost his minutes as the year went on. Poor guy couldn't catch a break with injuries. Injured himself in warmups his first year here, and had various injuries all season this year. If healthy, I think he's a high-major level player, but he lost his minutes with Antonio Reeves (very likely) returning + the recruiting class coming in with 4 top 25 guards/wings. I hope he lights it up wherever he goes.
