Lost first found of match play 3&2. Probably worst round I’ve played since joining the club. Just didn’t have it today.

 

Did you have nerves? Have you played in organized competitive events like this before?

I haven't and I'd probably feel some pressure.

 

No pressure. I think mentally I just wasn’t in it with several factors…cold, my daughter hurt my back 2 days ago, hit a root on downswing on first hole, I saw the guy was getting 10 shots on me. Just an uphill battle from the get go and I just couldn’t overcome it. If I play this guy 100 times I probably beat him 90 times. I had plenty of chances to win holes but just chocked. I played my worst and he probably played his best.

 

Assume this is just getting tacked on to a vacation to Edinburgh? Otherwise, why would you travel for the Scottish instead of waiting a week for the Open? Regardless, it’s at North Berwick so I’d bet the viewing would be great

 

Exclusively been playing sim golf for the past 5 months. Went to TopGolf today and was hitting every target I aimed at. Ready to go play an actual course and hit every GIR and 4 putt

 

go its in a fantastic area this year. North Berwick, Edinburgh, etc. You will get much more closer to players than if you went to Open Championship too. From my experience they do it much more fan-friendly than PGA or USGA.

Took my cracked driver to the pga superstore I brought it from. They’re gonna ship it to Ping who it should be under warranty with. The guy said if they don’t have any G425 9 degrees in then they may just send a G430 so that’d be neat

under this agreement they're basically giving the CW a portion of any revenue that is generated but not taking a rights fee so it's only marginally less embarrassing.

 

Just finished getting fitted for irons. I can't believe I am typing this but out of the new Taylormade's mizunos and Srixons, the Srixons crushed them and it wasn't even close. Srixon has figured out something.

 

we let Srixon come to a multi vendor demo day just to throw them a bone and we sold like 5 sets of ZX-7 irons.

 

Pretty sure all their irons are designed and forged by Epon, which is arguably the best (or at least one of the top 3) forging houses in Japan.

For forged irons, they’re going to be just as good as anything else out there, albeit without the marketing you’ll see from Callaway, TaylorMade, Ping, etc.

I think they also forge Bridgestone irons too.

 

Had a similar experience with Srixon irons. I’m a 1.7 index and loved my old Mizunos. A buddy runs the TrueSpec location in Columbus, OH and went to him fully expecting to get fit into another set of Mizuno irons. The Srixon #’s blew everything else out of the water.

Have had the irons for three seasons now and will have a hard time taking them out of the bag.

 

I just got fit and it came down to Srixons and Mizunos. I couldn’t tell the difference. Both were much better than what I had. Went with the Mizunos. It was a coin flip.

 

Have heard great things about Srixon irons. Couple of my buddies have them and like them a lot.

 

I love my ZX-7s. I played Mizuno for 15+ years and these are the first irons that have felt as good (but preformed better).

 

I have a driver I’m selling and thought I’d throw it out here before going the eBay route. TM Stealth 9° with a Graphite Design AD DI s6

 

I’ll start the bidding at 8 dollars bob.

I was actually kind of pissed when I got fit into cobra irons, I really wanted to go the ping route.

 

I wanted to stay with Mizuno but I couldn’t argue with the numbers

 

Was Mizuno Pro 223s, Ping i59s and then Srixon ZX-7s for me. Would have absolutely been happy to walk out with the Srixons

 

So I’m taking cafe of a patient tonight. Said he played in a pro-am with a pro that everyone in this would jump at the chance, but not who you think it would be. Also offered me his open tickets. I think it’s all the food drugs I give him.

speaking of Koepkas, I watched the videos of Chase Koepka with the Bob Does Sports guys and he came off super down to earth and likable, but also came off as someone that has no business being a professional golfer. He was by far the least impressive of the pros of any YouTube collab match I've seen. Granted he's only a pro for one reason, but still.

 

So Paige Spiranac is doing some sort of Only Fans light subscription thing?

 

Bad news though. In the video she made about launch, she outright says she didn’t want to be on one of the other sites because she isn’t interesting in making sexually explicit content then says she probably lost a lot of interest if she isn’t going to free the nip
