I don’t care if it happens or who participates, if you aren’t doing it then that’s on you for losing a kid because of it. That said, the dad or uncle having nothing to do with the kid his whole life only to show up his senior season and start cashing checks sucks for the kid and the people who actually helped him get to where he is.
I would argue you should also be against the practice of facilitating such things if you feel that way but maybe that’s just me…wouldn’t have greedy uncles if there weren’t staffs willing to broker back door deals (Keeley comes to mind).
