Frank’s Red Hot also originated in Cincinnati in 1917. They had the main factory in Sharonville. The brand was sold in 1977, and I’m not sure when they stopped manufacturing here.
Went on a guys trip about a decade ago with this ~350 Mexican guy who ate nothing but valentina on tortilla chips the whole weekend and I’ve kept it on deck ever since.
I don’t like salsa or hot sauces on my breakfast foods. When I do use it though most likely using Cholula or Tapatio. Tabasco and Sriracha are bottom tier.
that type of breakfast Cholula is the go to based on those options cry baby craigs is what I'd use for my non-national choice
Crystal. I had a bottle on the kitchen table for awhile but I haven't been able to find it since and I can't remember where I purchased it.
where do you live? Odd to hear people don't come across it in Nebraska, as I figure it is widely distributed alongside all other major players.
Phoenix metro. None of the major grocery store chains seem to have it although Louisiana is plentiful so I just use that most of the time. It's very odd.
It’s a better/thicker version of Tapatio. I honestly have every one of those sauces in my fridge plus more. Really depends on my mood but Valentina is the best for breakfast.
ya, I goofed on the poll and tried to edit it. Not sure why I've called it Crystal's my whole life. Maybe because of the fast food chain? Or maybe it just feels better to make it possessive?
Peri-Peri sauce (kinda like wing sauce) is great on breakfast tacos. Reminds me of Torchy’s Tacos Diablo sauce.
