I got fucked by a guy with ekeler, Kenneth Walker (who I tried to get but got out prioritied several weeks ago),and Aaron Jones. What a trip from yesterday.
I’ll be 6-1 after tonight. but I play number 2 next week and no way will jamar chase score 30 three weeks in a row right?
I don’t know where this goes but the bucs fucked me on 6 parlays and cost me approx 7k in upside Tom Brady fucks sheep that is all god bless
yeah, need 10.7 second half points. would've been really cool if meyers was touched down at the 1 earlier and stevenson got the rep. as it is, only 3 other teams of 12 scored higher than me this week (potentially just 2 if stevenson wins this for me) so it's just bad luck
Looking for some advice. I have an embarrassment of riches at RB. When Swift gets back, I’m looking at having 5 solid RBs not even counting Foreman. I’m obviously limited at WR and TE. This is a .5PPR league and I’m wanting to float some trades. Keenan Allen has been hurt or my WRs would look a little better. I’m having trouble trying to figuring out packages for picks and what I should prioritize. I could probably land Kittle bc his owner just lost Breece but am worried about his red zone targets with CMC coming over not to mention having Deebo. I could maybe go after a high tier WR and combo a trade with Dalvin/Allen or Pickens. I guess just curious on your thoughts. I plan on riding Jacobs and Pierce. I love Walker now too in that offense so honestly Dalvin, Swift, and Foreman are my primary trade bait. The only 3 TEs I am even interested in are Kelce, Andrews, and Kittle. WR feels so much less certain this year than years past once you get passed Jefferson, Diggs, and Kupp. I might add that I’m intrigued by Hopkins and would consider him but I’m just not sure his worth relative to what I have available. Straight up for Swift? Dalvin? Any help or advice is much appreciated.
You need, could get, and should try to get, significantly better WRs and a TE. Having Allen in the bag is nice but you need a much better balanced team with ppr in play See who else needs running backs and sell high (Pierce/Jacobs/Walker) on guys who have bad playoff schedules
I am in a similar situation, and have made the same observation about WRs not being as abundant this year, too. If you don’t have a trade deadline, you could wait another week to see if any other RBs go down which would incentivize other teams even more to make a deal with you. I currently have Henry, Walker, Etienne, Mostert, and Elijah Mitchell (IR). I offered Mostert for Allen to our league’s first place team, but they wants something else, and I’m risk adverse given it’s not a guarantee he comes back from the hamstring injury and that Herbert is dealing with a rib cartilage issue. That, and the other guy just lost a Breece Hall and I’m not trying to make their team better (I’m in 2nd). I also have an Olave for Etienne offer I’m considering. I like Mostert a lot, and would be comfortable with keeping him and trading Etienne. Curious what everyone thinks of McLaurin given I haven’t watched any WAS games recently. I’ve been offered him for Mostert.
Yeah I agree. I just have so many RBs I’m willing to take some risks. I just feel like Jacobs and Pierce are ROS plays. I don’t feel to confident trading and being better off. Walker is the bell cow now too with SEA. Feel like he is gonna see 20+ touches a game moving forward and with Metcalf out for a bit, he’s their absolute best redzone option.
Agree about Pierce and Jacobs. I’d ride with them the rest of the way; heck, maybe even Walker over Pierce. Thinking about it a little more, I’d use Swift and Cook as the trade bait and put some feelers out there. If people aren’t willing to bite yet, I would wait another week. There’s a bigger gap between the 20th ranked RB and the first than the 20th ranked WR and the first. If you’re okay with the status quo at WR for another week I’d do that.
I have a Olave/Najee offer for Etienne/Dionte J. Also have the option of taking Swift instead of Najee. Definitely going to make the trade, just curious about if others prefer Najee or Swift. I’m leaning toward Swift at this time. Edit - He changed his mind about Swift, so made the trade including Najee. Still happy with it as I needed more help at WR and had the depth at RB to make it happen. Wouldn’t lose sleep playing Najee Harris if I had to.
I was up 8 points in my dynasty matchup coming into tonight and had no one left. Opponent had Pats D and Nick Folk against the fucking Bears and thought it wouldn’t even be close. I won by 3
Yeah, this is like only the third or fourth trade in the league this year. Most people in our league tend to overvalue their players, so it’s a hassle to get anything done. Injuries (Hall), and trades (Robinson to the Jets, CMC) made people more willing to budge.
I think you could get more for Gus if it's a team trying to win this year. Pacheco is basically a scratchers ticket right now. Could be worth nothing
I also turned around and traded Andrews, Pollard, 12th and 16th for a 3rd and 7th next year. I'm in full tear down mode and Gus is only guaranteed to be good for a few more weeks until JK returns.
This post is directed at everyone except bro. I have some decisions to make this week and would appreciate your thoughts. Again, not your thoughts though, bro. Dak vs. Chicago or Geno vs. NYG? Olave vs. LV or Gabe Davis vs. GB? Dalvin vs. Arizona or Rhamondre @ NYJ? Kenneth Walker is my flex, and Davonte is my WR1. Thanks to everyone except bro.
Those are all close , but I'll say Dak - 2nd game back, should have his feet under neath him more. Plus Geno had a rough game, lost a big weapon Olave - Figure that game is more of a shootout. Buf may get up big and just run it out. Davis is pretty boom or bust Dalvin I guess. Coin toss for me
What do people think of Pittman and Rhamondre for Davonte Adams? Is that enough of a value jump? I'm nervous about the Indy offense but that feels like an overpay. Would leave me with: D Pierce C Patterson (inj) D Foreman (unsure of role) G Edwards (unsure of role) A Gibson (unsure of role) E Benjamin (unsure of role) E Mitchell (inj, unsure of role) at RB and: Adams D Hopkins M Hardman at WR The other trade I was working on was Stevenson+Edwards+Pitts for Chase+Devonta Smith, which I would prefer but I think the other owner is reluctant to do because of Chase's recent games and keeper elements (Chase as a 2).
I’ve got Taylor at RB with Jackson on my bench as a handcuff, but Hines is available. Would you rather carry Hines or Jackson as a handcuff for Taylor?
I don’t think there is a right answer. It seemed on that first possession Hines was gonna be an every down back before he got knocked out. But Deon then played fairly well in the next game so I could see it being split. As a JT owner, I dropped both handcuffs. I just hate that team now.
