Depending on how the picks fall, Id prefer some combo of Diggs/Chase/ Adams + swift/najee/Mixon if you want to go RB/WR
Which 4 should I keep? It's a standard league. I haven't looked at anything fantasy football this year(lmao not that it matters right?)
nobody has a real strong preference early in the 1st. all of the RBs are sort of the same and up to personal preference. maybe take jefferson and go RB in rd2? i personally like Jefferson/Swift or Jefferson/Mixon more than Cook/Lamb or whatever
What you get for a RB2? I have 11th pick and I know Dalvin won’t be there (It’s a majority FSU fan base league) I’m think I’ll get Kamara and if Diggs is there take him next. If not go Swift or Mixon. I don’t trust Adams or Deebo
I got Akers for RB2. Here’s my full draft: I’ve since flipped mostert for Antonio Gibson, dropped Everett for Saints defense, and dropped Lawrence for George Pickens. Only took kicker so early because we started doing negative points for missed FGs this year. There was an early run
local media loves him. Good training camp i imagine therewill be 400 catches and 40 tds between Kelce juju mvs mecole and sky
he’s done well in camp and has been doing returns in preseason. our WR room will be tough this year cuz Pat will prob spread it around a lot
I'm trading renfrow for penny straight-up. half-ppr. both were drafted in the same round, penny went 4 picks in front of me. I feel good about my WRs (Chase, Pittman, Cooper, Hopkins on IR, and Doubs/Pickens as wildcards) and less good about my RBs (Mitchell, CEH, Pierce, Robinson, and Pacheco). I'm not crazy for this, right? I'm actually pretty bullish on Renfrow this year (think it's Waller whose targets will suffer the most) but having another RB who barring injury is getting carries feels good. CEH and Robinson are likely in platoons and Pierce is a rookie.
Hate my team... QB- Herbert RB- Swift, Hall, Pollard, Mattison, Melvin WR- Evans, M Brown, E Moore, S Moore Lazard TE- Andrews K- Butker DL- Donald, Garrett LB- Leonard DB- Chinn
I'm not mad at my team. Decided to go high risk high reward on a lot of picks. I'm sure it won't bite me in the ass. 1pt PPR QB: Murray, Winston RB: Ekeler, Barkley, Jacobs, J. Cook, Sanders WR: Waddle, M. Thomas, D. Smith, Toney, Pickens TE: Andrews
Had my draft last night with my buddies in a long time home league. Justin Jefferson was my keeper in the 7th and had the 2 pick. In order: CMC Tyreek AJ Brown Diontae Johnson Herbert CEH Jefferson (k) Penny TJ Hockenson Kadarius Toney James Cook D’onta Foreman MVS Broncos Kicker Also one guy took 5 QBs, not sure what his strategy was in trying to freeze people out of QBs. So I went early with Herbert as I didn’t like the RBs on the board and the top TEs were gone. Also, didn’t want to get frozen out of a decent QB if there was a run in the middle rounds.
Spot on with the RB dead zone. That’s where I will have to make up ground. I’m active on waivers so I should be ok and will just need to be aggressive.
With how sketchy the RB position is this year, everybody and their Mom will be looking for this years version of James Robinson
Drafted Trey Lance ahead of Aaron Rodgers because I fucked up with the Yahoo app. Maybe it'll turn out good?
Just did my first draft of the season. Yahoo gave me A- and said I won the draft. Fully prepared to only win 3 games this year now.
Fifth pick in 13 team half PPR didn’t want a TE that early but got caught in a nasty value pit for what was on the board at wr and rb, so took him as BPA
Big money league draft was today. 2 keepers, had 9th pick. QB: Justin Herbert, Kirk Cousins RB: Aaron Jones, Cam Akers, Elijah Mitchell, JK Dobbins, Raheem Mostert WR: Stefon Diggs, Marquise Brown, DeVonta Smith, Treylon Burks, George Pickens, Jameson Williams, Jalen Tolbert TE: Darren Waller, Albert Okwuegbunam D/ST: Colts we eliminated kickers and added a flex
Who were your keepers? I don't like that roster at all. Some strong QB1/RB1/WR1/TE1 but will they carry you
Jones, Diggs, Mitchell, Herbert, Waller we have 2 RB and 2 flex and I wanted 4 starting RB’s and they were at a premium (especially after keepers), so went Mitchell in the late 3rd round. Diggs and Adams were the only two of the top 7 WR that weren’t kept, so glad I got at least one of them.
I have the 10th pick in a 10-man money keeper league in a couple days. I won last year, hence the 10th pick. Which 3 players would you keep from my options below? Draft pick I have to give up in front. Starting rosters 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX (RB/WR/TE), 1 K, 1 DEF. PPR scoring. Tempted to go Waddle, Amon-Ra, Burrow. Kupp at 11th overall, sure, but I already got him in another league and damn if I could just secure Waddle/Amon-Ra and go RB-RB at the 10th/11th picks, that might be really nice. I see Mike Williams there too. 2 WR Cooper Kupp 3 WR Diontae Johnson 8 RB Darrell Henderson 8 RB Damien Harris 9 WR Jaylen Waddle 10 RB Rashad Penny 11 WR Mike Williams 11 WR DeVante Parker 14 WR Amon-Ra St. Brown 14 QB Joe Burrow (18 round draft)
Kupp, Williams, and Brown. Maybe Penny over Brown if people are keeping all RBs. Not sure how having Kupp in another league matters here...
You like having the same player in all your leagues? Even if you like him? It doesn't influence you at all? Why not Burrow?
i only play in one league but i don't think i'd want to diversify my team against downside risk. this isn't like a portfolio i'm trying to maintain, you know? just give me the best players even if they overlap. i don't think any QB is worth keeping in a 1-qb league. and i'm not even particularly high on burrow this coming year at that. he'd be a good value in rd14 but that'd only be worth it if you have unlimited keepers. i like a couple of your WR values more.
Seems like keeping those two receivers and going RB-RB might get you killed in a 10 team PPR. They're like two WR3s in a 10 team. Waddle's ceiling is capped with Hill and St. Brown could have been a flash in the pan and will have Williams back at some point. Assuming your 3rd pick is WR, you could only be picking from WR3s at that point with 60 players selected/kept already. Kupp obviously won you the league last year and is worth a 1st round pick. As a keeper, he's not a great long term value but is still good present value. Maybe you don't have to keep him there but I'd consider drafting him there (or the best WR avail) even if you do keep a couple WRs. I have no idea how your league values QBs, but Burrow is a back-half starter no matter where you keep him. I'd only keep him if you like him and don't know what to do with the 3 keepers. Ramblings.
had my big money 12 person league yesterday and somehow diggs and deebo fell to me at 20 and 21 relying on akers and dobbins as my main two rb’s though is scary. have dameon pierce, james cook and penny as backup rb’s
