Looks like Arte is putting the team up for sale. Need the new group to be found quickly and have some Japanese ownership stakes so we can keep Ohtani.
this feels like a pete carrol bolting usc type of move like he knows something is about to come to light
I imagine Samueli would likely have some part in a new ownership group. But wouldn't surprise me if Kroenke, Ballmer, or some hedge funds have already expressed interest.
I don't have much doubt Arte sent a lot of money under the table to Harry Sidhu over the since canceled stadium property deal.
a weekend series in denver announced a day after the sale is announced who says this season is a failure?
Or if the family has no interest in being a part of it. Arte is 76, so I guess they are looking to get full value plus let somebody else deal with the stadium situation.
Yeah I don’t know what will happen with the stadium. It’s fine but we are more than 25 years post Disney renovation. Needs to be redone in certain spots.
New season so there is hope to make the playoffs. Ohtani on the mound and batting 3rd. What’s the over under on games played by Rendon?
Rengifo’s absolutely abysmal start probably helped move this timetable up, but Neto is ready regardless.
Sandoval looks good, both in the WBC and last night. (Obviously let down by his D.) Hopefully we don’t see many more like last night - games that we should’ve won.
when the season is over i can always look back at a handful of games that could’ve made for a different season we already have 3
solid first ab 9 pitches and hard hit ball he’s gonna need to stick with his approach deep in the count his leg kick is gigantic early in the count
Looked up the Angels’ runs by inning since it feels like we’re scoring 4 in the first and then trying to hold on half the time. 1.00 0.25 0.88 0.54 0.75 0.63 0.25 0.42 0.17 0.13 I’m also posting this right now hoping that I reverse jinx this 2nd inning.
Looking better recently. cal is there an upcoming road trip from hell? You called last years slide very early.
i don’t see a road trip like what was to come last season, but there are a couple spots in the schedule that will definitely make or break the season one patch started in milwaukee last week and will end with boston in a couple weeks july looks like it could be rough month too i’m just hoping for a crystal clear outlook on the season, that way we know exactly what to do with ohtani
nah if they’re in striking distance (4 or so games back of the division) then fuck selling shop addell finally, rengifo or whatever to improve the team and make a run
i think you’re forgetting about the other generational talent we’ve let waste away for a decade if they’re close then they owe it to him to keep ohtani for a run and risk losing him in free agency
Went to the Big A yesterday and it sucked after the Rendon homer...tonight much better. Flipping between Lakers and Halos worked out.
