---apropos of nothing whatsoever--- ok, so I was trying to find a recording and/or footage of this Allmans concert I went to in 1994, which maybe doesn't exist, but I stumbled on their performance at Woodstock 1994. Was watching this at work, and lol, well, head to the 10:40 mark ~nsfw-ish~
Forgot to comment then, but I watched 3-4 or their videos Sat night after you posted this. Ready to hop on tour now.
Don’t have a line on any, but when I was contemplating still going over the weekend I saw some were up on the secondary sites (StubHub, VividSeats, TM resale, AXS, etc.) Lowest was about $100 with fees. Other than that you might get lucky on CashorTrade.
Yea I’ve seen some on vivid like 90 with fees so might just hop on those sooner than later. I would love to find some on cash or trade but those seem to be selling the second they’re listed
i bet scalpers are still sitting on a ton. Bet we see some price drops closer to show. Also the El Goose Facebook page is a good place to ask
i had 10 offers on red rocks within seconds. 30 for each Dillon night on cash or trade. I knew they would sell, but I was surprised how quick and how many wanted them
I feel like all events be it sports or concerts that tickets go for nothing at the last minute. Or at least that is my experience whenever I am looking to sell.
I did the lottery as well. Is that separate from their "presale"? I doubt Richmond will sell out immediately, but idk. Goose....
yes. Lottery announced Wednesday, presale Thursday and regular Friday. Even if I miss on lottery I doubt I get left out of presale. Joy pretty big for them in NOLA. Jam bands don’t really sell out instantly in the south.
Unless it widespread back in the day. They used to sell quick as hell. Damn frat boys buying up all the tix
The B on Canal right next to Joy Theater too. Walk 15 feet to the entrance, maybe meet the band unloading. About to book my room
How is Pullman Yards Owsley? Going to try to do one of RVA or Atl, but I'm already committed to quite a bit through Halloween/mid November. May ultimately hold out for a Goosemas trip though.
I've never won one of their lotteries, but also never had any issue getting whatever I wanted during pre-sale.
Ok Space Odyssey was cool, but other than that they need to put a little more effort into these set openers because the free vids on YouTube have been mediocre af. To make matters worse they always lead into a song that is looking to be sick and leaves you wanting. Tonight it was an abbreviated More that led into Tweezer. Prior night it was a Disease. Can't wait for the second song of the second set on the next show to be Crosseyed and Painless
Also Billy Strings w/ SCI was fucking insanity He is just on a whole different level than anyone else currently
Saw Cheese for the first time in 99. I went hard and saw them probably 60 plus times over the next 5 years. Their early jamgrass days were so much fun.
Finally posted on Relisten String Cheese Incident • 2022-07-17 (04:03:27) • Red Rocks Amphitheater, Morrison, CO https://relisten.net/sci/2022/07/17?source=548428
You probably encountered my brother during those days. I think he went to 100+ SCI shows in that 1999-2004 window. The first Phish hiatus left a big void and Cheese soaked up a lot of the tour rats.
Looks like a old big tobacco warehouse with a few questionable sight lines but hard to tell from photos. There's also two different GA sections with different prices.
Did he go to Bama? We used to meet up with a guy from Alabama during those years. Can’t remember his name though
