There’s a lot to be skeptical about with this one. First of all, why would we be finding out about it 4 weeks later if they were really flying in there with nukes? That would have raised eyebrows, and possibly more, immediately. Next, there’s almost no way you’re ID’ing that as a nuclear capable ALBM from a conventional just on the fly. Now if they’d say nuclear capable, I’d be inclined to believe that, but specifically and definitively saying they’re carrying nukes? Nah. Also, allegedly the SU-24 hasn’t been nuclear capable since the 90s, but that’s also like saying our B-1s aren’t, even though they could be rather easily.
