They still aren’t functioning. Still not agreeing on the important stuff or taking way too long to do so
Doesn't look like he's playing anywhere until New Orleans in May. Surely a Mig would have to refuel along the way.
Nah. Saying that when Ukraine gave up their nukes, they did not give up all of them. No proof of course, but considering they havent been able to account for a few hundred nukes from when the ussr dissolved, theres a reasonable possibility.
Russia and Republicans always crying "false flag!" because they're the pieces of shit that actually do that
that was the biggest takeaway for me too. What a colossal fuck up. Stand-off munitions should be doing 90% of the work here
How does 1000 missiles line up with the Ukranian reports? I though the Ukrainians reported 700+ missile strikes alone a day or two ago
There was a tweet in this thread that was showing 100+ missiles dropped to start and then as the days went on it approached 600-700+ per day, I believe.
This is a good watch on this and similar stories. Perhaps its a bit sensationalist, but its interesting. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1572769/
Alrighty. Found it. Took a course on this in undergrad and this was a reading: https://research.hks.harvard.edu/publications/getFile.aspx?Id=838 tl;dr- once Ukraine was independent, they were broke and needed money. The foreign under the Clinton administration acknowledged repeatedly that there was financial incentive to mislead the folks heading up the Trilateral agreement (il try to cite this bc i dont think this was in the paper)and that the only deterrent to Russian aggression was the nuclear threat. Maintaining approx. 3000 nukes would prove to be too costly for Ukraine, but maintaining a smaller arsenal was certainly a possibility. The paper is also interesting bc it mentions the status of Crimea and how Ukraine wanted to keep it as did Russia. That was a heated debate in which Ukraine felt bullied. They had reason to believe Russia was unhappy with the territory of Ukraine and would try to regain or annex certain parts and had motive and the means to mislead the US and Russia. There are a few hundred missing suitcase nukes which is public info. Is put the odds at like 50% that they have <10 warheads. https://www.armscontrol.org/act/199...officials-deny-claims-missing-nuclear-weapons
