I really like this team. Too young to do anything this year, but for the first time in years, I can’t actually see how these actual players could be competitive. Really need Sheffield and Dunn to pan out, or Gilbert to get ready in a hurry. Mallex Smith looks utterly lost though. I’m ready to sell all my belongings to drive the Kyle Lewis bus. Crawford looks awesome. White looks damn good. Shed Long is solid. I cannot wait for this post to look real dumb in a week.
The Kelenic stuff doesn’t bother me bc he just wants a big deal which we can offer if it makes sense. Mather needs to be gone. This guy is a mess.
Yeah that’s so fucking awful. I mean, most MLB teams all think this way too, but to have the balls to come out and say it is just awful. Shocking that this organization has the longest playoff drought in all of sports. I hope Julio makes billions of dollars and tells Mather to go fuck himself.
It’s just so depressing that we have so many positive storylines and the ineptitude of leadership will still be a risk of destroying it all.
I don’t see how they can possibly keep Mather around after this, while at the same time I fully expect them to keep him around.
