I mean, he's not wrong. The second Dems get the Senate and the WH, they're going to change a ton of shit around and that will almost certainly include getting DC and PR their own statehoods, both of which are essentially long overdue at this point. PR would be a constant fight because it's so religious you basically have to talk them into not voting Republican but DC would be guaranteed to go blue without hesitation.
I will give the Dem party a LOT of credit if they actually get one or both to become states. Also, I seriously doubt PR is that Red, especially after the GOP basically passed a law not allowing them to declare bankruptcy and forcing austerity on them.

My chud dad expressed this sentiment last night on a catch up call. I said it’s more likely the opposite. We also spent > half an hour discussing mail in voting and how he believes Trump will win on election night and then it will be stolen by floods of mail in ballots after Election Day. I kept my composure throughout. Oh and he likes SHS and McEnany. I said they didn’t deserve a peaceful meal in public for the rest of their lives and shouldn’t get to reform their images after leaving their posts and going on dancing with the stars.
