last time I saw a Windy spot on ESPN his shirt was struggling to keep it together. I hope he used quarantine to get a peloton or walk a few miles a day
Brian Windhorst might quite possibly be the worst reporter ESPN has ever put on air. Or in the conversation.
All knowing of things that he can’t talk about/didn’t report at the time. It’s so annoying. Career has been made by being close to team LeBron.
If LeBron had come out of any city in America but Akron, Windhorst would still be on the Akron local beat
He’s not good on podcasts either. Always comes off as so awkward and then mentions 20 things he knows for a fact but “absolutely can’t talk about it”
I don't mind Windhorst, but that could just be because McMenamin annoys me more among LeBron beat guys.
incredible dick-tuck by Ryen on the Top 5 GMs thing, might need to add a few more bench press reps after getting out-Alpha'd by Simmons
I like Windhorst alright. He does tend to ramble on and interrupt others on podcasts. And his refusal to give any kind of prediction is kind of weird. But I generally agree with his take on things.
Haha i was cringing myself to sleep listening to that pod last night. Bill: Boston landed Gordon Hayward as a FA. Reality: Hayward’s former college coach, Brad Stevens, landed him.
Does anyone else notice Bill keeps fing up baseball batting averages? He said he was batting .100 on something and was proud of it and I was very confused. I did enjoy he and Chad Ford a lot though
Never cared for her going back to her days at the Orlando Sentinel in the mid 00’s. It’s getting pretty ridiculous you can’t dislike anyone without someone on here insinuating something. I don’t care for a lot of people in the media.
Does anyone really like Jemele Hill? Or do some people talk themselves into saying they like her because they dislike the people most likely to hate her?
I was thinking mostly about sports media actually. Again another person with a misguided generalization.
Sounds like some of our more sensitive members need to heed a trigger warning for female sexuality in the Basic Instict pod. I've never seen the movie, but I'm thinking of watching just to jack off alongside Mallory's performance.
Bill and Ryen doing a Rewatchabull in Game 3 of 1991 Finals was really good. Made me go back and watch the game on YouTube. That was the first Finals I watched every game.
