They said a few weeks back you could take day 1's numbers of cases and multiply it by 1.2-1.5 to get day 2's case number. Like if one day has 10 cases the next day would have 12-15. Anyone know if that's still true? pperc15 RonBurgundy

People are animals. Stupid, savage, self-serving animals. A mom goes into the store to buy toilet paper, is told "only one package per customer," throws a fit but buys her pack and leaves. Three minutes later a ten year old walks into the store with a ten dollar bill and orders from mom (waiting in the car) to get another pack. Manager just shakes his head and loses a little more faith in humanity.

So great of Disney and the other parks to stay open a few more days instead of closing immediately, allowing 10s of thousands of people, some of whom have the virus, to mingle in close quarters and then get on planes and in cars and go back to every corner of the country and world. The data from Italy and other countries says every extra day without action makes it worse.
Update from Father Nug: -this thing will all be over by early April. Due to the warmer weather and all -RUSH LIMBAUGH told him the ‘cure rate’ (?) is 99.7%. But the media isnt reporting that -working from home isn’t going to work because of the “bandwidth.” My 65 year old father who does not understanding texting and cannot access email on his phone was explaining internet bandwidth to me after listening to RUSH LIMBAUGH so things are swell
My take home was that if they were truly only swabbing after CT was positive then they indeed missed a metric shitload of cases.

The more I think about it now, I’m like 90% percent sure I was exposed. Pretty sure I’m one of the lucky ones that doesnt exhibit symptoms. posted a while back how my office got a crazy flu sickness back in Feb, like 80-90% of our office got sick and we closed down for a few days I distinctly remember being pissed off because my boss kept having me participate in conf calls in his office, sitting just a few feet away from him, while he coughs uncontrollably throughout calls. This happened 3-4x. I never got more than a mild cold, but that shit has been in Seattle for months. I probably unknowingly spread it a shitload
I have been feeling like this as well. Around the Super Bowl my boss was dealing with a respiratory issue for a few days. Then one night it got so bad he went to Urgent Care. All told he was sick upwards of two weeks, but only one of those weeks was it truly bad. Probably a week later, myself and another colleague had similar symptoms but we never had respiratory issues. It lasted 3-4 days. I still don’t think it was Corona but I do wonder how if perhaps it was.
Already heard from a doctor that Arkansas hospitals and not able to handle this. We already have people on ventilators in the waiting rooms because icu units are full. People don’t meet the requirements for testing due to the lack of testing kits.

Our 65 year old secretary was sick for 3-4 weeks and sounded like death. The partner i mentioned said it was the sickest/worst flu he has ever experienced. similar stories all around. With the benefit of hindsight, it’s pretty obvious
Probably not - there weee some really nasty viral strains going around earlier this winter. I had a bad fever for a couple days and was coughing all over the place for like a month mid January to mid feb.
The mayor of Miami tested positive for it when he was asymptomatic. Said he just started feeling like he was getting a cold last night
My mom tested positive for flu b a couple of weeks ago so it was prob the flu. Considering what's happening elsewhere I don't think covid has been here for any period of time
