arteta said during his presser he’d sit down and talk to him nothing beyond that from what i’ve seen though
Just read this morning he has been confirmed as one of six of his staff. Two more have been confirmed but I have no clue who they are.
Seems he'll be off coaching elsewhere within 6 months. Getting prepped to take over in 4-5 years from Mikel
Touch was rough today but he’s the only youth who can play through the middle in half spaces between the lines. You saw the right ideas with some of the turns, just needs refinement. plus he was the only attacker who actively tried to find space. Which I respect.
I would have taken off Nelson, put Martinelli on the right and pushed Auba out on the left. Freddie is thinking “Don’t lose the point.” I’m thinking try to get all three points.
It looks like Freddie has finally had a few training sessions to work on tactics with this team. Also, David Ospina would need two kicks to kick the ball as far as Jordan Pickford.
Was going to post the same. Problem is that’s peak Xhaka unfortunately. Then again you never know. Jordan Henderson still boggles my fucking mind. You could not have convinced me he was worthy of being on a roster in the top half of the Prem yet in that system he started and won UCL and about to win the league.
Last shit post from me here today, maybe. Absolutely night and day defensively since Emery’s last match. Certainly not exciting but good to see.
What, I love him but he had a poor game. Sidibe isn't an all world RB, should have caused him problems but didn't. Seemed like some decisions today were for Freddie and not to win the game.
I think we all feel differently if Auba gets good contact and puts that chance away, the XG on it was .63. Freddie shored up the defense by putting in kids who would transition and run back to cover. Xhaka was good today. Everton wasn't a threat going forward.
A bunch of drunken away fans were giving them shit all day inside the stadium and then that was outside the stadium.
Ljungberg on Ozil: He walked off, took his things and kicked them. I said at Arsenal, that’s not how we behave. Mesut was injured but I would not have picked him for the squad because I want to make a stance that that’s not what I accept from an Arsenal football player.
I only watched the last 10 minutes and it was cringeworthy. Xhaka had a throw in go to him and took an awful first touch backwards to nobody leaving the back 4 completely exposed as Everton pounced on it. He did have a nice defensive header as Chambers and Richarlison clashed heads next to him but seriously, sell that asshole January 1st.
Seems there 4 or more journalists with stuff out, give Ornsteins podcast a go. This guy on twitter seems to be aggregating most of it. https://twitter.com/ltarsenal
I want a video of him talking to the Kroenke’s like that about how he can fix this mess they put us in
