This whole thing started because I said it's possible the cost of insulin has increased due to demand. Nobody here has shown anything supporting their belief that the price of insulin has risen independent of demand. I'll admit that I'm not entirely sure, but at least I'll provide support for my assumption with data. Everyone else who was arguing with me was just making definitive claims based on nothing more than just knowing they're right.

You point out that pharmaceutical companies can charge what they want here and that drives up prices and then turn around and try and blame the sick. You’ve been told over and over and over again that your assertions are wrong and you keep beating the same drum. In the US life saving drugs are more expensive than in other places simply because life is a a for profit industry here.
This is a disagreement. I'm saying one thing and you disagree. I'm open to understanding your side of the argument, but so far, all I'm reading is: "insulin producers are greedy... end of discussion." I just showed you data representing that the most common types of treatment for diabetes have increased by about as much and even more so, in some cases. The trends suggest that prices are going up across the board. It's hard to isolate insulin manufacturers raising prices, demand be damned, without suggesting the manufacturers of all the other drugs are in on it too.
You don’t understand the diseases and their treatments and are making extrapolations based in that flawed understanding that are incorrect. You also argued in favor of a market based approach to insulin pricing to drive changes to diet and behavior without understanding type 1 or type 2 diabetes. You are just wrong about it all and I can’t explain it to you in message board posts. Shadow an endocrinologist if you want to understand it better. Also, yes, the drug manufacturers are all in on it together. That’s the entire idea behind the label “Big Pharma”
If I were to launch into personal attacks and name calling, directed at you, and you were to bite your tongue and not return the insult... that would be going out of your way to be respectful.
