Not sure about last year, but we got swept at New York to end the season in 1995, including a walk off loss in the 11th inning of the last game of the season.
With Flaherty pitching yesterday, does he go G2 on 4 days rest or G3 at home? I gotta think they want him to start G3 at home, but then he only gets one start in the series. If he pitches G2, then you gotta think he’s good for G5.
Just read the espn playoff primer. Has the nationals with better World Series odds then us. Looks like everyone is back off the braves wagon. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id...ew-storylines-info-odds-every-possible-series
Not sure how much stock to put in this, but my TV guide says Braves on at 830 both Thurs and Fri. Seems like it would be the opposite with Braves playing first, then Dodgers, but I don't know.
Are they really going to wait until after the wildcard games to announce? They don’t give a damn about the people actually trying to go to the game. All about maximizing TV ratings.
dammit bad week to start a new job and not be able to just leave early without telling anyone like i usually do
It's a company townhall/happy hour. Basically everyone is on-site at clients every day and this is the one time a quarter we at the office
Let’s fucking go. Seriously. Ended the season like shit but we know that as soon as the bright lights come on Thursday it’s going to be electric and the guys will come out and jump on the Cards like they have anytime they have had a big series facing them this year. I’m pumped. Dallas is the perfect guy to start game one bc he’s been down this road before and all the crazy shit that comes with a home playoff game won’t phase him in the least. Let’s sweep these fuckers
Took a half day Friday. Leaving Birmingham at 11:30 EST and meeting friends at the Battery. Cannot fuckin wait.
In Atlanta all week for training and staying at the Hampton Inn at the Battery. Training is over Thursday at 5, and I'm just staying that night as well. Nice to just be able to walk 100 yards over to the restaurants and everything even if I can't snag a ticket.
If you wait until the game starts you can get in dirt cheap but here are some being sold now in the app I use if you're just looking to get inside the park.
Tickets secured for game 2. Will be my first time at the new ballpark. What are my best options for parking?
If you're able to Uber that's the best option. For me it's the same price to Uber as it would be to buy a parking space.
