Again, their talent level is much better. If we changed his throwing motion and it's causing this, sure that's something to consider. but he's the one making the throws.
If we pay a staff top 10 money and the reason they can’t produce top 10 results is because they don’t have top 10 talent then I’d expect them to recruit top 10 classes to make up for it.
Took a vacation to see family and watch a half of the worst football I’ve seen in person since coaching NAIA kids... which seem similar to our offensive line
I don't think there's as direct correlation as you are implying, but yes I think they should recruit very well and have highly ranked recruiting classes. But it's their 2nd year. Calling for heads before they've had a chance to recruit, build, and implement talent is silly.
Comparing Frost to Riley is silly. I get that you're angry that we're getting our shit pushed in, but knee jerk reactions will hurt us more than help 8 times out of 10.
To be fair this game highlights more about how great OSU is. We’ve been mediocre to awful for years, that’s not surprising
At the very least they just need to stop giving anyone involved with the program a microphone until we beat a T25 team.
You must have not watched early? He was awful, is awful. He may have become a better human, but he’s a dogshit corner
Playing 8-10 yards off on a 3rd and medium. Fields rolls out, Lamar breaks painfully slow, easy first down. Our DBs are painful to watch. Dismuke’s stiff ass playing free safety is pure comedy
I turned it off before halftime but 4-12, 27 yards and 3 INTs shouldn’t happen to a D3 QB playing a D1 team.
Thank you, based Gina, for your weird holiday scheduling. I did not watch a second of the game, just like the Michigan game last year. Frost Era is off to an unlucky, but not disastrous start according to what my eyes have seen!
I think all of you should be ashamed of yourselves for not pointing out the positive in this game. We were perfect on extra points
Aside from a whole litany of problems, we have to get bigger at the WR spot. It's very imperative that we get Betts and someone like Omar Manning here next here. Spielman and Wandale are good players but when you put them up against guys with their athleticism who are 6'1" 210, things don't look so good.
Cannot like this enough, I don’t think one position group made any positive strides from year 1 to 2. Maybe linebacker and defensive line, but small gains at that. I’m sorry but a lot of this is on the coaches. I here the same coach speak bullshit in these pressers every week. Fuck you, take ownership and change what you are doing, because it’s not working.
I’m tired of being embarrassed. Now we’re shelling out $150M and ungodly amounts to frost and this shit staff and it makes it even more embarrassing. Frost: thinks he hot shit in a champaign glass when he’s warm doodoo in a Dixie cup. This isn’t recruiting, this is dipshit coaches.
Not my place but it's a process. I've seen this game before with my team and it fucking sucks but it's part of a rebuild. Going from a pussy ass bullshit culture to winning isn't fun to watch. Watching this gave me flashbacks to the Jameis Winston fsu team the first year they came to clemson with GameDay. We got flat out embarrassed and that was years into our new coaching staff. Or the WVU bowl game when we thought we were hot shit then got 77 dropped on us.
I get what you’re saying, but as far as I can tell, Clemson had ‘struggled’ for many years prior as well. So there’s some equivalence. I appreciate cutig ’s perspective in this. I think Frost is right for the job. I’m confident he’ll get us to some level of measurable relevance that we can be proud of. Also agree that their hubris needs to be toned down significantly until we’re at that point. Still so fucking frustrating we can’t have a quarterback that takes care of the football. Like, stop fucking throwing interceptions and fumbling.
