Balor has had such a weird career. Universal champ right out of the gate, injured, top pick in the draft but hasn’t sniffed a title
They love his look and media presence but think he's white meat and uninteresting. Which he kinda is but they don't trust he could pull off being a heel
It's really annoying to me that guys like Balor, Cesaro, Miz, Dolph, Seth, and a few others arent going to get their shine because of guys like Brock holding the title hostage for basically two years. I'd love them to spend 2019 having both titles changing hands a shitload of times. Have them change at a PPV, the next night on Raw, smackdown, and even throw in a few random Live event title changes. Spice this stale shit up a bit.

FWIW, after the brand split, Crews won a battle royal on the first Smackdown and won the right to challenge Miz for the IC title. That match led to the Miz promo on talking smack where he tore down Bryan. Now that I've typed that out, I feel like my timeline is wrong.
