If that Neal Katyak clip from the top of the last page isn't just blowing smoke up our asses, the DOJ could run into some serious issues having an illegitimate AG. If true, I think it's bigger than congress and will depend on how quickly the court system can address it.
Good morning. Most things are terrible right now, but I take small solace that bag of ass chips in human form Karen Handel and open traitor Dana Rohrbacher lost, can fuck off and die.
If the Sinema results hold, and Nelson somehow retakes Florida in a recount, then the ‘18 midterms will have been a remarkable victory for Dems. Only losing 1 overall senate seat, with this map, would be crazy.
If Sinema wins, taking the Senate in 2020 becomes at least possible, although difficult. If Nelson wins, we got a stew going.
War Grundle why did you ignore the thread when people were literally answering your questions? Why run away?
It is. When that pic was done, I don’t think all of the votes had been counted, so they called it “leading dem”
The Ohio Senate and Ohio Governor races have an interesting split, with blue counties in NE Ohio and Dayton in the Senate map going red in the Governor map. Sherrod Brown is really solid with the labor vote. Corday was not.
22 seats up for the GOP, 12 for Dems, but most of the GOP seats are in the south and plains mid west and thus are deemed tough flips. Fortunately there aren’t many vulnerable Democrats either- Doug Jones will lose Alabama but otherwise it’s a solid defensive map. NC, Iowa, Maine (fuck you susan), Colorado, and maybe Arizona are the best chances for Dems to flip seats.
Amendment would guarantee eradication of cancer in exchange for 5% increase in taxes in income over $100,000. Aggie Board would vote this down and be flummoxed that anybody would vote for it. Bunch of socialist choosing world with no cancer over a chance to potentially buy a used jet ski.
I’d be shocked if he loses barring a scandal or a Beto level candidate going against him. He’s a smooth guy even if he isn’t very popular among voters and he’s a ride or die Trumper which will be tough in a presidential year.
“Ted Nugent is a vile and disgusting human being,” Brandon Dillon, chairman of the Michigan Democratic Party, told the Free Press recently. “How can anyone accept his support? How can people not be outraged that Bill Schuette, Tom Leonard and John James are touting the endorsement? Maybe they’re holding out to get Roy Moore and Bill Cosby to come in and campaign for them.” https://www.freep.com/story/news/lo...nOI90ga3ihOCrb35Em5pnc-2haKofWSzQbANkFj7LaZOs
Berrien County needs to get its shit together. If we want to keep thriving on Chicago big money we gotta go blue.
Maine is a weird state. They just elected a Dem governor by 7.5%, a GOP Rep by .7%, and an Indy named Angus to the senate by 20% points. Who the fuck knows what they’ll do?
Something that's really been bothering me is that I've been buying products from companies that pay for the ads that go directly against my personal values. It's nearly impossible to track the parent companies and ownership of ever brand in Kroger but if the information was available I would gladly pay an extra 20 cents to make sure my money wasn't going to Rick Fucking Scott's campaign. Does anyone know of a good way to quickly check if a parent company donates to these assholes?
If you chopped the bottom 20 miles off of Michigan and gave it to Ohio, the average IQ of both states would go up 5 points.
It’s also amazing that they think people “who can afford $400k houses” are the ones who were wiping their asses with 20s after the tax cuts. Must be a tough surprise when and if they make it to the point of affording a 400k house that the tax cuts that open up the flood gates of riches and excess are still about 10 incomes brackets away.
Ron Howard voice - "Mueller was Senate confirmed and appointed to his most recent position by someone who was Senate confirmed."
Not sure why I always think April Ryan is the name of the reporter from TMNT. It's clearly April O'Neil. But can't see one name without thinking of the other.
