Not a bad trade for the browns, kizer has a big chance of not being good ever and you get an nfl player.
That is exactly where I would’ve crystal balled you :) Just kidding, please crystal ball Quinn Carroll to Nd.
if we sign Robinson, I have to think Coleman is on the outside looking in. Especially if Pryor is coming on board too.
that's interesting. denzel ward would make more sense at 4 now. also excited about the robinson possibility, but don't really see the point of pursuing pryor if we do that
I would keep Gordon and go Pryor over Robinson, and draft a rookie WR. You can prob get Gordon and Pryor for Robinson's price
We will still draft a rookie WR. Dorsey has said he likes a lot of the WR's in the middle of the draft this year. Gordon and Robinson on the outside, with Landry in the middle, would be an absolute load for opposing secondaries. Pryor will probably be the consolation that we end up with though.
How’s your OL? Adding those WRs, Tyrod, drafting Barkley and keeping Duke would have to make the Browns one of the more potent offenses in the league in just one offseason.
largely depends on joe thomas's status. we spent heavily on the OL last offseason, so when everyone's healthy we have three pro bowl caliber guys up front (thomas, zeitler, and bitonio). on paper, it's probably the strongest unit on the team
Interior is set, but we need help at the tackle spots (even moreso if Thomas is hanging it up). I’ll be mildly surprised if the position isn’t addressed early in the draft and/or FA.
I think Joe Thomas would be doing it right about now if he were retiring, so the Browns could use FA to help replace him.
Thomas' former teammate and current podcast co-host Andrew Hawkins thinks he's coming back. I believe he said something about probably having two years left. If we make serious improvement, I can't imagine he'd walk away next year but who knows.
With the level of competence shown with these moves, I have to think there is a master plan here, right? They know who they are taking at 1 and 4, and how these recent moves fit into that plan. It still makes sense to take a QB, and let him develop while Tyrod plays. That was not the case when Kaiser was the starter, so that makes perfect sense. Is it unreasonable to NOT take a QB at 1 or 4 now? What are the most pressing needs? With Randall going to FS, does that mean that's no longer a position of need, and we are looking at the top CB in the draft? RB, long term QB still seem like priorities.
1. QB 2. QB 3. QB That’s how 1-3 go. We will have our choice of best position player at 4. Chubb & Guice/Michele/Jones combo > Barkley.
I feel like that is the best case scenario for Browns and you guys are planning for the best case to happen
I'd float trading #4 for Buffalo's 2 Rd1 picks and something in the middle rounds and draft accordingly
I think Minkah is out with Randall playing FS, I don't think Dorsey will take an RB that high. So I think it's Chubb or trade back
