I mean, the whole demonstration was about how it's powerful enough to pierce the skull. No mention of how you'd, you know, aim it. I guess they have to bait it somehow? I thought the Dragonbinder horn was a little bit of plot armor but it's 10,000x better than the "ballista"
I believe there is some history behind the giant cross bow killing a dragon. Maybe it was in the World book but I was listening to a podcast the other day and they mentioned there was a precedent behind that scene. #nerd
They just kinda got sick and stopped breeding. The magic wore off or some shit. What am I, a maester?
Only Meraxes was the only dragon shot down. The rest either died of old age or were killed by another dragon. Gotta remember, dragons have scales too. The reason Meraxes went down was because it got him in the eye
Most of the dragons died during the Dance of the Dragons. But others have been shot down with Scorpion Bolts. Then like 3 or 4 were killed in the dragon pit by the people of KL.
I kind of want Bronn to sneak down to the Black Cells and save Tyene Sand. Admittedly she was one of the few aspects of Dorne that I did like.
Also the remaining dragons were put in the dragon pit in KL which stunted their growth and made them much more vulnerable to attacks.
We dont really know what caused the stunted growth. Dany's dragons still grew while being chained up. Some suspect that they were being poisoned in the dragon pit, also. Atleast that is what I have been lead to believe
Is it too much for me to ask Bronn to switch back to being with Tyrion? Maybe he'll see the dragons and realize he's on the wrong side. Then he hears that the "prettiest woman in the world' is in the dungeon at KL and he goes and saves her because he's sick of being married to that dumb girl. Heads back to Tyrion and they say funny things again.
Crazy to think how influential Olenna Tyrell was in the show and the fact that she was only in 18 episodes out of 73
Random thought while bored at work... couldn't bran potentially just warg into Baelish and repeatedly stab himself? Problem solved?
I swear to the Light God that if Cersei kills a dragon with that stupid ass weapon I will go all Houndster on this thread
Bronn Davos Sandor Clegane edit: Davos might be too major these days to be a side character. I'll swap him out with Beric Dondarrion.
The Oleanna/Tywin interactions were the best IMO. Probably top 2 characters for me. I'd have to add Maester Aemon to that.
the speech Maester Aemon gives to Jon about when his vows were tested still gives me chills. perfect delivery, great acting by them both. "...who are you?"
I need to rewatch it, but curious why the Smiths weren't putting leather on the armor. Littlefingers army doesn't put leather on the plates, i'm overthinking it but wondering if they try a coup ? Or the Davos /Missandei interaction... watched a review and they brought up a theory about her not being the real Missandei? She doesn't know anything about the place she came from when Davos mentions butterflies and trees, etc. This theory was to go along with Dany being sabotaged.
Winter is coming or already here and it's for warmness, going to be freezing. Overthinking it for sure
i figured, and I always think about the Gladiator scene with metal freezing together( though that was the sword and sheath, not the breastplate)
Yes. It was just me overthinking, because I think Littlefinger is going to try and do something shady and i hope he dies.
