I feel like I spent a lot of the last few months being one of the Kelly apologists, but that headline really bothers me. 2015 was one of the most exciting seasons in recent history and had as much buzz as any with the Showtime special and ND players getting tons of pub in the draft. It didn't need to get stale.

Nice win against the Wahoos. Especially nice to get the monkey off our back as well. The team looked energized and strong on both offense and defense. Good effort and nice finish. Had them the entire way.

 

The staff's game planning to open the game was excellent. They had some great set plays to free some guys up to knock down some early shots

I know this isn't the Virginia of the past couple years but they can still defend at a high level. Brey's gameplan forced Virginia to play out of their comfy zone all game. Great job by the staff today

 

I've had a couple drinks, and I'm apt to oversell, but, I really do believe that Brey is the best coach in the game. You compare our roster to the teams we consistently compete with and beat and it's crazy. Virginia is actually a great comparison they just do it differently. It's wild.
